I've been bought a domain with DR( Ahrefs) of 48.

Backlink profile

DR 48
UR 0
AR 916,133
Backlinks 252
All time 62.7K
Ref. domains 14
All time 12.7K

From backlink profile seems like a PBN and seems that it has been used for spamming very long time ago.
I've bought this for a dollar. Now, do you think it will rank faster if i make a money site of it and i do 301 redirect all 404 urls?adadasdasdasdasd.png

Domain is registered 30m ago, so stats may not be accurate 100%

Thats a sweet deal for a dollar.

Ranking is unpredictable. Google is being a bitch with ranking lately (they were always, but lately they've been in overdrive :D) so really anything is possible.

I've seen new sites booming and established sites going down the drain lately.

Just add content and hope for the best.

That DR number is a fluke and the domain has merely 14 RD which is pretty much nothing and won't help you in any meaningful way.

On the other hand, it has been spammed and abused previously, so you are risking that it will never rank properly no matter what you do. All that in exchange for a few backlinks.

Not much of a risk:reward ratio there.

If RD is 1000+ and even if it is a great domain name and powerful backlinks, there is a 99% probability that it will not rank at all and your money will be wasted instantly.

a week later, everithing ranks and start generating traffic with just 7 posts.

Building high-quality backlinks from reputable sources is crucial to improve your domain rating. Additionally, regularly update and maintain your website to ensure it is user-friendly and loading quickly. Lastly, engage with your audience through social media platforms and encourage them to share your content.

BHW should really start blocking these AI-generated comments.

It's very rude to the people who originally posted and to everyone else in the community.

PBN backlink is very dangerous this is not long time worke

Here are some reason to domain rank easy:
keyword competition
content quality
backlinks

It may or may not help. These days Google is unpredictable. I think you must try. If you will fail you will learn.

Not that it matters, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's a fluke.

My startup has a DR of 43 and we only have 42 backlinks.

The strength of those links matter a lot more than the volume.
(In our case they're industry related).

OP: What's your target country's geo and niche?

It's been just over a month and the domain is doing pretty well.

Last 28 Days Stats

Also, these are the stats for 24/03/2024 (a sunday)

Main traffic coming from Romania, but also UK/Germany/Spain and Western Countries.
My SEO plan for this domain is to servere content that respond to users (Keyword Intent). So, no matter how much content you are writting. Out of 105 articles written, 95% have under 80 words.

Any 'How-To' Monetize the traffic?

Under 80 words per article? Is that rankable? And sustainable? This is interesting.
Where did you buy the domain from? I’m my research, I believe Google penalizes expired domains is if the new site is very different from the original purpose of the site.

The service on fiver costs $30 and in a month any of your site will have DR70+
But this does not mean that you will be able to get at least one phrase from this site :)
DR can't show the real weight for ranking a site.

Personally i wouldnt bother with RD 14, no matter the price, but i guess it worked very well for you.

It's always a gamble.

The idea behind this is not that a guy buy a domain, buy a service like this and then just spam it generating no revenue. This is out of the plan. The idea behind the DR is that the domain can still carry some juice and can help you rank better than a fresh new domain.

RD 14, every single domain pointing to it has a DR of 72 on ahrefs and are paid guest posts, so, a lot of juice passing. Look what i've achieved in a month:

For just a dollar, this is a very sweet deal.
Domain was found here: https://www.expireddomains.net/login/#listing
Then i took out a new custommer deal (that most domain registrars offer) to register the domain for a year for just $1.

So far, the website generated $8.39 that is x8.39 profit. Little by little, this is a good invest.
