Nice, thanks for answering. I am considering starting a shorts channel. Mainly focusing on fighting games niche with long and short form videos, but the traffic isn't there. Anyway, good luck with your journey!

Most successful online business people, using shorts to link to their longform video. And the "entertainment" niche in general is very hard to convert to make money, because it's simple psychology; people who watching funny, entertainment movies are not in a buyer mood.
Example Andrew Tate a multi millionaire, his videos looking like entertainment , but it's not he use a different "framing" to sell his high ticket courses. Another funny is Jenny Hoyos she makes funny videos but they are framed , so she can sell her video courses.

The same with The Grim Hustle and many more, the list goes on. But many people not understand this. So long you not framing your funny entertainment videos - you will not build a 6-7 figures business, not dream about reaching these with youtube ads, maybe only when your are good as Jordan Peterson or Russell Brand (the using "framing" too) otherwese not. Take down your pink glass and start thinking deep and sharp to create a framing that will convert.

Second channel all mine, main channel is using other clips on youtube but making a story
Youtube allows monetization using others clips as long as they are edited? I wasn't aware of this. I thought clips must be original and unique.

Yes of course, im not just taking clips and uploading them

Can you monetize a channel with videos with the same background image or video but different text?

How long does it usually take you to make one YouTube Short?

How many Shorts do you upload per day or per week?

And do you actually think it’s worth investing time into YouTube Shorts considering the amount of effort and work required?

I’m trying to figure out if the time and consistency really pay off in the long run.
