Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone can help me figure out why I'm getting hit with constant bans on my Instagram funnel accounts.

My Setup:

  • Strategy: Mass DM on IG pointing users toward my funnel ig accounts.
  • Funnel Accounts: 12 posts, clean bio (no links, just a regular sentence)
  • Automation: I’m using Cupid AI to manage the conversations.
The Problem:My funnel accounts are getting banned relentlessly. This is causing a massive loss in traffic and wasting a ton of time.

What I’ve tried so far:
  1. Reducing the volume of new conversations on Cupid AI significantly.
  2. Switching to real devices for account management.
  3. Keeping the profiles looking "human" (no external links in bio).
Despite these adjustments, the bans keep coming and I can't pinpoint the trigger. Is it a footprint issue with Cupid AI? Is IG detecting the funnel intent even without links? Or is there a specific warming process I’m missing for the slave/funnel accounts?

If anyone has experience with this specific Cupid AI setup or is currently bypassing these bans, I’d love to hear your thoughts or any advice on what to test next.

Seems like the Cupid AI conversations are getting you banned somehow

Could be a few things:

1) Account based problem
2) Proxy related problem

I'd say more likely account related issue, most guys doing mass actions are using mostly bruts anyways. Though this is not something I'd recommend.

Honestly if you check Cupid statistics for the last few weeks - IG conversions have dropped significantly which means that you are (probably) not the only person having these issues and by the looks of it it's a system-wide problem.

If you are still keen on using Cupid for warming and generating leads - try different funnels. Either to Snap or TG.

It might be due to the API calls flagging the profile. That being said; look into real device automation. That will help keep the account safer.

yes but i don't do USA traffic so for example snap is not good and i so hard to do snap acs and manage it, with TG the problem is the cut change from ig to tg cut the traffic

I had the exact same problem, my accounts were constantly being blocked, I also had Cupid installed, and it turned out that was the problem. I think you have the same issue.

Trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Instagram funnel accounts. Since you've already tried reducing the volume of new conversations and switching to real devices, I'd like to ask: have you considered rotating user agents or implementing a more advanced proxy setup to minimize footprints? Additionally, can you share more about your account creation and profiling process, as Razentyler mentioned, to see if there's anything that could be triggering the bans?

If creation were the problem, you would receive bans immediately, but I receive them after 5–10 people write to me in DMs

The issue might be due to an API call flagging your profile, causing problems for your account. Consider automating your real device for better account security!

How old are the accounts that you are using to funnel the traffic/leads?
Did you warmed up properly? For how long?

Cupid it’s very dangerous for IG.
I’m using it only in TG since IG is very restrictive for this kind of automation.
So the point is if you are using Cupid in IG you’ll have 2 chances:
1. Your account will be disabled after a short period of time - it’s related to the trust score of your account.
2. If your account have a good trust score (not flagged before, no restricted posts, not a liveness check in the first month, a good warm up process and so on) that account will survive for more time, but not for too long.

So in this business if you want to make money fast use: Cupid bot in IG, cold DMs (a lot). If you want to make a good amount of money and if you want to make money for a long period of time DO NOT use Cupid on IG.
If you are starting over and over (because you got your accounts disabled) it’ll be a completely waste of time.

The ACS are from 2017-2020. One week of warm-up + posts, stories, etc. Never more than two posts in one day.

I don't know if you've been using Cupid for a long time, but I used to do funnels on IG because changing social media halves the traffic a bit. Before IG became hell, I was getting 40/60 paying subscribers a day, then IG started to change and everything stopped. Now IG has recovered, but the problem I have is the funnel.

However, I think I'll move to TG. I think it's the best option. Unfortunately, I'm very “perfectionist” about things, so I always try to get the most out of everything, but honestly, I don't see many other alternatives.

Thank you for giving me a different perspective )

We run cupid on rather large scale with pretty damn good CVR. No bans :D

You are going in the good direction but you're still missing few bits there

Are you using proxies or not? Because if you are logging in from the same IP into all your accounts, I believe that should be the problem.
