Making $0 -$300 a day with pop traffic

i recommend to back push ads with network like galaksion (you need to filter bots ) then target one country with good cpa offer from maxbounty

Hey brother, currently in similar predicament. I did make bank last time from pops, gambling on fb, and now back to pop again for less account banning headache. FB/Adsense arbitrage is kinda like buzzfeed model where you run clickbaity ads to your article hoping they click your ads.
Hey brother, would you mind sharing some wisdom when it comes to running pops ads?

I used to make good money with Facebook and Google, but the constant bans took up so much time to deal with. When I was spending $1k+ on pop traffic, I would run a push subscription offer first, then redirect to dating or another adult offer — the ROI was high. But in 2026, push subs don’t pay nearly as much, and I’m struggling to optimize for profit.

If you’re open to sharing your strategy, I’d really appreciate it.

I usually test different offers, then geos and optimize by whitelist/blacklist, device, language, filtering bots, and removing low-converting website IDs — and that’s basically it.

If you’d share your approach, I would really appreciate it.

How would you determine if an offer is good — especially for sweepstakes? Would you judge it by EPC from MaxBounty?

I am running sweeps with pop traffic. Free iphone etc

I read everything , but not actually udnerstood the goal -like you vouching for the popads - as good way to earn $$ from traffic , nothing is clear for me if you can describe more about the process of how you getting reached to this payout - also you didnt share your niche / etc which kind of offer you was running :-) ???

This post is against PopAds. net. I analyzed recent traffic and found that they send around 20-50% bot traffic. Seems like their bot filtering system is broken. That means half of the traffic will never convert—and worse, it can get an affiliate account banned for sending bot traffic. Because of this, I’ll most likely stop advertising on PopAds.

I also tested PopCash, and it was full of bots as well.

For now, I’m testing Adsterra. It looks like roughly 1% bot traffic, so there may be room to optimize. We’ll see how it performs.

In the back of my mind, I’m also considering switching back to Google Ads or Facebook Ads, but we’ll see.
Adsterra got 1% bot traffic? and popads got 50%?
So you created this thread to shit on popads.net. You spend 140k only to find out 50% of traffic is bot traffic.
You found out after loosing 75k over 2 years.
And then you spend few dollars and found out no bots with adsterra.
Can you prove any of your claims?
Just don't do that over here and try to misguide members.

Exactly it's all bs.

Let's clear this up quick without the drama.

That 50% bot hit? It was from specific traffic IDs on PopAds, the kind you can straight-up disable in targeting. Every source has bots, man—it's not like PopAds is unique or the "best" (I'm not claiming that at all, just clarifying). I laid it out clear in the post: push subscription offers and adult offers (dating, cams, games), I mentioned it a couple times for context. It worked before.

This thread's just me dumping my latest tests—no agenda to "shit on" anyone or mislead. Happy to prove it with tracker exports if you DM.

On Adsterra: That 1% was the quick test, but scaling a bit more, some sources creep to 2-5% bots—still miles from PopAds' 50% spikes. Point is, with a solid tracker (Keitaro, Binom or whatever), you can figure out IDs of websites with bots and nuked them to zero across any network. T

Look, to clarify: I spent $140k on PopAds.net over time, profiting about 100% on every dollar spent—that's ROI, meaning $2 back for every $1 in. I didn't get any payout direct from them; it all came from the affiliate offers I was promoting.

I was running adult stuff: dating cams, adult games offers, smartlinks, plus push subscription collection. But push subs started paying way less lately, so the whole funnel tanked. Now I'm testing new offers to monetize the traffic better, 'cause once you blacklist/whitelist and eliminate bots, it's pretty profitable and stable.

But you gotta understand how it works to make it pay. You pick one offer, test it in one geo, waste money to buy data, then optimize in hopes of profit. Most of my tests failed hard. But the winners usually cover the losers. If you just top up the ad network and slap on any offer, it won't work—optimization makes it profitable.

I figured out how to filter bots in popads and probably any pop under ad netwrok, with this connection you eliminate 99% of bots.

What’s up guys,

After wasting money on junk traffic, I finally found a simple setup that cuts almost all bot traffic.Screenshot 2026-02-13 at 07.38.35.png

1️⃣ Connection Types:

Select only:

  • Cellular
  • Residential

Why?

Most bots come from:

  • Hosting
  • Data centers
  • Corporate networks
  • Unknown connections

Bots usually run on servers (VPS, hosting providers, cloud machines). These show up as Hosting or other non-residential types.

When you choose Residential + Cellular only, you are targeting real people:

  • Home internet users
  • Mobile phone users

That alone removes the majority of automated traffic.

2️⃣ Connection Speeds:

Select only:

  • Cable/DSL
  • Cellular/Carrier

Why?

Dial-up and some “Unknown” speeds are often low-quality or masked traffic. Real users today mostly use:

  • Cable internet at home
  • Mobile data on their phones

By choosing only these two, you:

  • Filter outdated or suspicious connections
  • Avoid weird proxy setups
  • Keep traffic more natural

3️⃣ Why This Saves You From Bans & Violations

Ad networks and affiliate programs hate bot traffic.

If bots:

  • Click too fast
  • Generate fake conversions
  • Hit landing pages repeatedly

You can get:

  • Account warnings
  • Withheld payments
  • Full bans

When you filter to Residential + Cellular connections:

  • Your traffic looks natural
  • Click patterns look human
  • Conversion rates are more stable

That protects your account long term.

4️⃣ Extra Tip

Always monitor:

  • CTR spikes
  • Super high conversion rates
  • Traffic from 1–2 suspicious zones

If something looks too good, it usually is.

Final Thoughts

Before using this setup, I was burning budget daily. After switching these connection filters, bot traffic dropped hard. My campaigns became stable.

This simple filter setup can save you money, save your accounts, and protect you from bot attacks.

Test it yourself, and you’ll see the difference.

Today, everything looks clean.

NICE TRY .
this will cut off the cost of using adscore for filtering.
now which offer do you use and the net profit for this traffic ?

However, I still use Keitaro Tracker to identify IDs that manage to send bots anyway to eliminate them.
For now, I am trying to do traffic arbitrage between pop ads ad networks, aiming for profit 15-20% and scale. The idea is that if I could get 20% spread and buy at scale, it could be very profitable. But for now, it's going badly.

I am also testing MaxBounty sweeps for the US, but have yet to see any conversions.

I'll keep you updated.

the squestion you need to answer ?
  1. who will buy my traffic ?
  2. popads one of most expensive plaforms with average usa cpm ; 2 $ so how you you are going to get profit 15-20% ?

  • monetag ; will count only 10% of your traffic
  • adsterra : will close your account when payment time come

Thanks, Monetag, banned me before. I haven't tried Adsterra as a publisher. I have a list of networks, and I am gonna negotiate before driving traffic. I had a few networks that did accept the traffic with no problems I just need to find better deals.

Pop traffic is risky now and full of bots. Test small, track everything, and blacklist bad sources fast.

Don’t scale too quickly.

Monetag ban you for changing you account information nor for sending bots , again before trying to find better deals you must find platform accept your traffic and not ban you when paying time is coming , for example i can got 100% free bot traffic from usa for 0.01 , but who will buy it ???????!!!!!!!!!

You said you can get 100% free bot traffic from the USA for $0.01 — but the question is: who will buy it? Nobody serious.

If you want to monetize this kind of traffic, you need to think differently.

For example, I’ve seen Fiverr offers where sellers promise 100,000 USA clicks for $300 — and people actually buy it. You could create an offer saying you send traffic, without promising conversions, just traffic. I’ve seen people running multiple Fiverr accounts doing exactly this and basically reselling traffic. It works, but it’s tricky and risky if not handled properly.

My personal way is different.

I focus on finding CPA networks that have funnels designed specifically for this type of traffic. I’ve converted:

  • Dating offers
  • Gambling offers
  • Sweepstakes
  • Smartlinks made for pop traffic
  • Push subscriptions

Smartlinks can be very profitable, but they’re unstable. One day you’re making great money, then something changes in the rotation and suddenly you’re losing money.

That’s why it’s better (long term) to build your own “smartlink” setup — rotate different offers based on:

  • Mobile vs desktop
  • Android versions (10, 11, 12, etc.)
  • GEO
  • Carrier

But let’s be honest — this requires money, tracking, and constant testing. It’s not set-and-forget. It’s real work.

I tried Facebook. I tried Google. Nothing is easy. It’s about choosing one model, committing to it, optimizing it, and scaling it.

I’ve met guys at conferences spending $5,000+ on this type of traffic and making a profit from it. I haven’t reached that scale yet, but I believe it’s possible — if you track everything and optimize properly.

Once it works, it works very well.
