So, Super Bowl Sunday is not about the game.

It's about the food and the commercials.

Our menu:

Cheese steaks:

Red peppers as they are best for this.
Vidalia onions.
Top round sliced thin and chopped on the grill as it cooks.
Provolone cheese.
Montreal steak seasoning lightly added.
Salt and pepper lightly added.
Hollowed out 6 inch kaiser rolls.

Once prepared, cut the rolls in half so you and your guests can have 1 1/2 instead of 2 as 2 is a bunch for most people and have some Boars Head dill pickle spears on the side.

Simple recipe Cole Slaw:

Thinly cut cabbage.
Carrots cut using a grater.
Salt and pepper.
Cole slaw dressing (store-bought).

Sweet potato fries:

I cook them in an air fryer so we are not eating fast-food fries.
Cut them up very thin.
Soak in water for about 20 - 30 minutes to remove the starch.
Dry them off and put them in a bowl.
Add a little avocado oil, salt, pepper, and a hint of paprika and garlic powder.

A salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, chopped sweet pickles, crushed croutons, feta cheese, chopped ham, and a fair amount of pepper.

We'll have a choice of ranch, thousand island, Russian dressing, and balsamic for our guests to choose from, so they can add that on their own.

I'll also make some rueban sliders for those who prefer that over the cheese steaks.

Hawaiian rolls.
Super thinly cut corn beef.
Swiss cheese.
Sauerkraut.
Russian dressing

Beverages:
Seltzer water.
Bottled water.
Beer.
Vitamin water.
Coca Cola.
Root Beer (A&W of course).
Sprite.

We set up a table in the kitchen with the spread laid out and go by "Winter Rules", serve yourself.

Everything will be served on disposable dishes, bowls, and cups.

Clean up for 9 people is a bit much at the end of the night, so I ignore the environmental impact.

The silverware is Babmoo cutlery and reusable, so it does not get tossed. You can buy that on Amazon for about 20.00 if I remember correctly.

Your menus?

Sounds amazing, I will be there!

We also decided on steak sandwiches with provolone on hoagies!

Spicy meatballs
Mozz sticks
Pineapple upside down cake
Chocolate chip cookies
Oatmeal raisin cookies
Gardettos snack mix
Chili
Corn chips with cheese dip

Who is playing who in the game again?!

Its only 8:22 and its making me hungry. Have a great time my friend.

The commercials were super disappointing, the company was great, and the food worked.

The game, who cares?

2 of our guests are friends of mine who own a local restaurant. I set up their site, grabbed all the online real estate with their business name for them, and set up their Social and shared how to market on Social, as a favor because they are great guys.

I asked them to bring some styrofoam containers so we could send the guests home with the leftovers, as I knew there would be some, and my wife and I would never get to all of that.

So in essence, our guests saved me a bunch of work by taking food home.

Gave away all the goodies from the game, so I had to make something for us post-game! Made from scratch, moist, brown sugar and cinnamon crumb butter cake!1000020544.jpg1000020543.jpg

That sounds like a fantastic Super Bowl menu, especially with the mix of cheesesteaks, sliders, salads, and sweet potato fries. Giving guests different dressing and drink options is a nice touch too. I sometimes like checking menu ideas before planning meals for gatherings, and I found the https://wdsmenuinfo.com/ useful for getting a quick look at what's available before deciding what to eat.
