How do some IPTV sites keep their homepage on Google after DMCA?

Hey,
I’m a bit confused and hoping to get some advice. My site recently got a DMCA notice from Google, and most of my pages were removed from search results.
I noticed that many IPTV websites have had DMCA notices since 2017, but their homepages are still showing on Google.
How do they manage that? Do they just keep the homepage neutral, or is there a trick I’m missing?
Any experiences would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

there are hosting and domain provider which ignore DMCA
My site is still on Hostinger and all content is intact
Google removed most pages due to a DMCA notice
I just want my homepage re-indexed,
Thinking about moving to another host, but not sure if it will help.

thanks mate.

There’s no special trick usually those homepages stay indexed because they’re neutral, generic, and not directly infringing. DMCA removals target specific URLs, not entire domains, unless violations are repeated or site-wide.

Story abstraction time.

Iptv is just another field where you can't just enter the saloons door and say Heya stolen booze available or such. Rather they come into the saloons with an entourage of partners and say I have all kinds of interesting stuff. Then the partners(affiliates) explain to the patrons. Metaphorically speaking.

If the sheriff enters, he will just see a well dressed guy having a chat.

strong branded signals help even after takedowns, google often preserves the homepage as a navigational result if it’s not directly infringing.

many of them use keyword IPTV and have more than 20 DMCA, Really its weird,
thanks you mate for sharing .

Interesting question. From what I’ve seen, long-term survival usually comes down to having legal licensing, a compliant hosting/setup, and responding properly to DMCA/Google removals, not trying to bypass them. Curious if anyone has examples of fully licensed IPTV brands that stayed indexed long-term?

That’s exactly why I made this post, because I see many websites using the IPTV keyword on their homepage without having any issues. Of course, I’m not talking about all of them.

My previous clients also faced this problem. I solved it using this technique:

I kept the homepage neutral and removed all copyrighted content. Only original and safe content was kept on Google. If a DMCA notice occurred, I followed the counter-notice or takedown process. With continuous compliance and original content, the homepage can remain visible.

It's mainly a case of keeping any copyrighted material off the home page. Currently it's so much better to use parasites for this niche - DMCAs have been weaponised.

Yes, OP, there is a massive difference between mentioning a keyword and having copyrighted stuff on the page or linking to copyrighted stuff.

The web page should also not be the one and only traffic generator with CPAs and such.

And do not be impressed if you see someone with apparent success, in general, never be impressed by anyone, instead learn how to make it better.

Be prepared to go bulletproof hosting, these have no c panels, you will be deploying to the metal and maintaining there, it is an interesting skill set to have and if you plan to stick around, essential.

I've noticed that many IPTV websites that manage to keep their homepages indexed often have a clear separation between their neutral, generic homepage content and the actual copyrighted material, which is usually hosted on subpages or external servers. This way, even if they receive DMCA notices, the homepage itself remains unaffected. I'm curious, dvvvby, have you tried segmenting your content in a similar way, or do you think there might be other factors at play in your case? Additionally, HawkSEO Studios mentioned the importance of responding properly to DMCA/Google removals - can you share more about how you've handled these notices so far?

In most cases, those sites keep the homepage generic and compliant, while DMCA-affected pages are removed, deindexed, or pushed off the main domain. There’s no real loophole survival usually comes from restructuring content and reducing DMCA exposure, not bypassing Google.

A lot of those sites also play a long game they rotate content, change URLs, move details off indexed pages, or keep the homepage vague and brand-focused while pushing the risky stuff deeper or off Google entirely. That doesn’t mean they’re safe, it just means they’re managing exposure

There’s no real “SEO trick” that protects you from DMCA. Once complaints start stacking up, google tends to trust the claimant more, and recovery gets harder. The realistic takeaway is that long-term stability usually comes from reducing what’s indexable and infringing, or shifting traffic sources not from trying to outsmart the system

They constantly rotate domains, use offshore hosting, and quickly remove or mask reported content before Google fully deindexes it.

It depends on your site. If it was already doing well in ranking then I’d keep the domain and create a “clean” front page and link to another site with the actual iptv.

If the ranking isn’t that good just rotate the whole site. Either way use hosts that ignore those notices.

The best way to fight DMCA removals is to actually fight DMCA over Google. Reinstatement of your links back on Google is the ultimate solution. Mirroring and other practices are time taking and frankly not effective. Getting your own links back on Google is the ultimate solution and such URLs that are removed from Google due to DMCA can be reinstated within 24 hours. So why not fight DMCA?

yes. I am using the following either shared/cpanel or VPS from buyvm.net, the-online.com, vsys, alexhost, and some russian hosts too. Also dedi server from spectraip and privatelayer. though that too much costly.
