Hello users,

I need to name my brand, which is a physical store across multiple platforms like Google Maps, Social Media, Website etc.

What is the best way to do it?

1. Brand Name (without anything)
2. Brand Name + type of service + City
3. Brand Name + Motto

I know NPA needs to be the same on all platforms.

I think the first option is ideal—just in case you expand to other cities and countries. A motto can only be used in certain cases, such as when using advertising.

Depending on the platform use the brand naming accordingly. If your brand name is unique name by itself, you can just use it as the handle and fill the rest about your brand in the allowed fields of that particular platform.

Use #1 (brand name only) as the official name everywhere. Stuffing service/city into the name on GBP can get you flagged unless it’s your real legal name.

It depends on your popularity, especially in your field of niche, Brand name has to have clarity mostly for the prospest to easily understand what it is about, but if your business is popular already then you need to show your non comforming stance and just use your Brand name only

The first option works fine if the brand name is unique. The motto should be conveyed through brand exposure and type of service through uniform description across platforms and location through reach.

"Brand name + type of service" should only be used if you have one shop for each service like "Eureka plumbers," "Eureka electricians," etc. "Brand name + city" should only be used if you have presence in multiple cities like "Amazon India". It's not wrong to use them in special cases but it's not needed either. You can convey motto through logo or write it as a subheading under brand name.

go with just the "Brand Name" everywhere, keep it clean and consistent. you can add service or city in descriptions or taglines, but the official name should stay simple for trust and branding.

Go with a clean brand name everywhere for consistency. Use service + city in descriptions not the name. It keeps NAP clean and gives you flexibility as you grow.
