Which shopping cart system should i use ??

Hi,

I am going to make a shopping website for Tshirts.

There are many shopping cart systems available on the internet like:

Zeuscart
Magento
OpenCart
Zen Cart
PrestaShop
phpCOIN
TomatoCart

I am totally confused after looking into all the systems.

Please suggest me the best system if you have used them.
also please suggest me some other good shopping cart systems if available.
I need all the interesting features available.

Magento is the clear winner for this kind of stuff.

I just built a website for t shirts also my first time building one as well. I used hostgator, wordpress, shopp plugin, & thesis theme to build my store. Came out pretty good for a beginner. I wanted a blog to my site thats why I went with wordpress instead of a standalone shopping cart like cubecart.

I would say Magento. I think they have site-that-use-magento section on their website. Try to dig more.

I use foxycart on a photography website. Converts well and looks amazing when properly styled. Quite a bit of work envolved though...

I agree with this, I just made a magento site, very painful.

However, if you're just going to download and use a template without much modifications, magento should be pretty straight forward.

In terms of support magento probably has the best support. It has a pretty large community aswell.

There is also a module for Drupal (CMS) called 'Ubercart' which is pretty easy to use.

I disagree with this comment.

I think if you are requiring heavy customisation then magento is the best.

Magento is the top dog and if you know php and how modules work then you can code it to look and work exactly how you want it to

And I agree with you. Magento has an impressive architecture, and is very well designed. If you know what you are doing, and you have advanced skills it's the best to extend/change features. It's the best I saw on open source scripts.
