Not bad luck — Meta flags a risk signal when a new card / new BM appears and starts running. Cards are immediately disabled usually because: card info (name/address) doesn't match, card has been used for many new BMs, or bank blocks international transactions. Yeah, this happens a lot now. Fresh BMs can’t handle a new card right away. I usually warm things up a bit first, then add the card slowly. Doing it too fast almost always gets it disabled.
