Hello,

I would like to know if getting backlinks from HARO "********" pointing to my site homepage

Will that have any impact/boost on my ranking?

Thanks

Anybody can let me know if Haro ******** links pointing to a homepage can have any impact on ranking of my blog articles?

Honestly, HARO still works — but not like it used to. The impact now depends more on the quality of your responses and how authoritative the sites publishing them are. If you’re consistent and selective with your pitches, it can still bring solid links and brand trust, but random mass replies don’t move the needle much anymore.

You mean that google made some adjustments on which it impacted the influence of those links over your ranking

So know broad or far related sites with no traffic won't have any impact on your site?

What's the business model

HARO could be great for local shenanigans

I think HARO links help more with brand trust and authority than quick ranking jumps, but they’re still worth doing.

Yeah, HARO links can help especially if they come from relevant, high authority sites. They don’t give instant boosts, but over time they add strong credibility and trust to your domain.

Getting backlinks from HARO (Help a Reporter Out) can help, but only if they come from websites that are well-known and have a lot of authority. Instead of merely getting any HARO connection, I suggest that you focus on getting links from media that are related to your topic. When it comes to improving your ranking, quality and context are considerably more important than quantity.

Yes, HARO backlinks can definitely help improve your rankings. They come from high authority sources, which build your site trust and boost its overall SEO performance.

Yes, the strategy has definitely shifted from a numbers game to focusing on quality and relevance. Thanks for your reply

For brand impact and authority you can use haro but the content is more important than anything else now

Thank you all for your comments

If you had the choice, would you prioritize guest posting or HARO first?

If you spot GOLD and CASH on the street, you’d grab both @ no hesitation.
Same with SEO: don’t pick one. HARO and guest posting together are pure profit.

For sustainable SEO growth, it is advisable to implement HARO and guest posting in tandem rather than independently. HARO establishes authority through credible, high-quality mentions, while guest posting enhances niche relevance and audience reach. Together, they create a balanced strategy that reinforces both trust and visibility; the pillars of long-term search success.

getting backlinks from haro can definitely help your rankings, especially if they’re from strong, relevant websites. even when the links go to your homepage, they still build authority and trust for your whole site, which can make a real difference over time

haro is not dead but most people spam it hoping for miracles instead of being strategic about which queries to pitch

Makes a lot sence, thank you so much

Indeed, both should be used

Which haro platforms would you recommend? 1 or 2?

Yes, backlinks from HARO can positively impact your rankings if they come from reputable, relevant sources. These links are often from trusted media sites, which can strengthen your site’s authority. Even if they point to your homepage, they still contribute to overall domain trust and visibility. Quality over quantity always matters most.

Yes, HARO backlinks can help, but only if they come from high-authority, real editorial sites. The domain authority matters more than the link itself.
