Hey so im new in the ofm game and till now I managed 3 models, all % based. I heard that a lot of agencies manage models on a salary base, but I dont really get it how this has to be handled if the models gets paid first because its her bank linked to her acc?
Thanks in advance

Welcome! The salary model usually works only when the agency controls payouts (like through business accounts or signed agreements). If earnings go directly to the model’s account, %-based is simpler and safer. You can still offer bonuses or fixed monthly retainers based on performance to keep it structured and fair

so it is possible to link the agencies bank to the models acc if its a business bank account?

Create your own AI model LoRA = 100% profit

You train a lora on how you want your AI model to look, and every time you use that LoRA to generate an image, it'll always be a consistent character. Compared to if you just asked wan to create a blond hair blue eyes girl, it'll always produce different looking girls.

If you have to ask, it doesn't really make sense for you at this stage. This is for agencies that know what they are doing and know the earnings they can generate, so they are willing to take more of the risk for higher profits while providing more income security for the model.

You would need access to the Models payout information. That means, when OF pays you out, you have access to that directly.

You wont make any money with AI. Not on the scale that Brand name Onlyfans has. Just waste of marketing power.

If you bring real value to your customers, it would not be good for them to not pay your dues. Safest way to survive in OFM is to have reliable clients protected by contract and if your invoices are not going to be paid, then they would lose out as well.

Whatever others are saying, do not "take control" of someone else's bank accounts!

So salary only works if the agency gets paid first, right? If the money goes straight to the model, % based is the only way?

In general creator management, there are two models: revenue share and salary/retainer. With revenue share, the creator receives payouts and pays the agency a % based on contract. With salary, the agency pays a fixed amount and usually controls or has legal access to the revenue stream via a business account or contract. Salary only works with strong legal agreements and clear payment control; otherwise it’s risky for the agency.

In a salary setup, the agency collects earnings first, pays the model a fixed salary, and keeps the rest usually via a managed account to avoid relying on her bank.
