I’ve tried a few shared and VPS hosting providers, but I’m facing issues with downtime and slow site speed, especially when running multiple affiliate sites. For those who manage PBNs or big content sites, which hosting setup are you using that’s stable, fast, and safe for SEO? Do you go with cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean) or stick to traditional providers?

Hello! I have several large projects and a small online store. The first thing I thought about was basic website and server security. For domains, I set up CloudFlare to hide the real IP addresses of servers and control traffic. My websites have a clearly defined audience by country, so I set up measures to block malicious traffic and bots for each of them. As for the server itself, everything depends on the size of my project, CMS, etc. For example, for a large-scale website with a large number of visitors, I chose a dedicated server. I placed my small websites on an optimized VPS, but on a powerful physical server. I asked the provider in advance for the specifications of the physical servers so that I could compare them.

I’ve had the best results with cloud hosting mainly DigitalOcean via Cloudways. It’s faster, more stable, and easier to scale than traditional shared/VPS setups. Great for running multiple sites without SEO issues.

If you’re running multiple sites go for cloud hosting like AWS or DigitalOcean it’s faster more stable and easier to scale. Shared hosting usually struggles once traffic grows.

hostpro.com runs its VPS infrastructure on isolated KVM instances utilizing NVMe disks for better I/O stability under concurrent workloads. Backup retention policies maintain 30 snapshots with one per day rotation. The system supports multiple control panels including Plesk, cPanel, and CyberPanel for varying administrative needs. Locations are split between European and North American regions. Technical operations are handled continuously with managed support included.

The flexibility to switch or expand to new server locations as your company grows allows seamless scalability without major infrastructure changes or downtime. Can add that GTHost vps hosting provider truly values customer satisfaction, with transparent pricing and no hidden fees. Their robust infrastructure ensures a seamless and reliable hosting experience. Unparalleled speed for resource-heavy applications.

For anyone prioritizing both performance and security, the infrastructure at hostpro.com has been solid in my use. Their system of automatic daily backups provides a strong layer of protection.

dedicated servers + cloudflare work best to get traffic smoothly

If you're on a tight budget, you don't need a huge server. A small VM from GCP or DigitalOcean is often enough, and you can scale up at any time.

Got it this is a common issue for anyone running PBNs, affiliate sites, or multiple content heavy sites. Hosting choice affects speed, uptime, SEO safety, and footprint management, so it’s worth planning carefully.

Cloudways if you are looking for managed hosting :)

If downtime is your biggest issue, Test LUXHOST with a few sites first instead of moving everything at once. That should give you a better idea of the stability.

In general you may want to stay away from shared hosting, for the reasons of performance, and shared neighborhood.

I'd go at least with a VPS, ideally with dedicated, where you have full control over the infrastructure and setup.
A qualified host with their own infrastructure should even be able to recommend a fitting setup based on your requirements. Especially if you'll need a multi-domain, multi-site, multi IP's environment.

In order to avoid lag you may want to look into CDN options, look for straightforward, per usage pricing, there are much more cost effective solutions than AWS.

The other approach I see here is to get a number of cheaper plans separately, but I couldn't imagine having to deal with a large number of separate accounts, and would always prefer to keep everything under one roof.
