We BHW members are strong enough to create change. That's a known problem and lots of people have noticed it.
There are chrome extensions that adds imdb ratings, that Netflix is trying to ban.
To be fair, I really don't follow these ratings (imdb, rotten tomatoes, and other ranking sites). If I am curious about a particular movie, I go to local forums and read real opinions, just to make an idea. If, after I read the movie summary + the reviews, I conclude I have to watch that movie, I'll go for it.IMDB rating of below 7.0!
It's because 90% of Netflix movies suck. They're renowned for being shit. There are exceptions:-Evey God damn netflix movie I open to watch has an IMDB rating of below 7.0!
Why is that?
Has anyone else notice this?
They're trying to ban them because most of their movies suck. The problem isn't with the app / extension makers, it's with Netflix funding so many shit movies. That's a known problem and lots of people have noticed it.

This sort of exists already:-this subject made me think that someone could create a porn version of IMDB, I would definitely take the rating into consideration before watching
Only netflix? Have you checked out the other otts? IMHO everything is completely dead.Evey God damn netflix movie I open to watch has an IMDB rating of below 7.0!

I do, but not for a yearly sub. I only pay for what I need. At least we could do that and I get what you are saying. I just don’t want creators to vanish. Its 2025 and this is BHW...
Please tell me people on here aren't paying for Netflix or any other streaming service when we have Real Debrid in our lives...?
Kodi Box > Real Debrid = GOLDEN

I think that's the one I use, too. There are a lot of good movies on Netflix though and there are databases out there that list their catalogue by the highest rated titles.I found this chrome extension still working:
Trim
Puts the ratings right on the movie cards. Most are below 7 or are new.
Netflix's content strategy is a scattershot approach, they mass produce mediocre content and hope something hits. Quantity > quality because they can't be in a position where there's no new content for users to watch.Evey God damn netflix movie I open to watch has an IMDB rating of below 7.0!
