What's going on with this new scamming scheme?

I haven’t been active here for the past few months.

Yesterday, I was looking into buying a service, and someone recommended a guy who had a thread on buying accounts/renting forum.

He ended up scamming me out of $150. Now, I keep getting new messages on Telegram from different accounts, clearly trying to scam me again.

WTF is going on?

It always starts with someone saying, we recommend this guy. I’m still receiving the same message, just from different accounts.

What’s strange is that this guy, VP jr, is still active on the forum even though he’s using such a cheap scam method.

Staying sharp means verifying what you can, keeping transactions traceable, and avoiding anything that feels too glossy.

Well, like you said, you have been away for some months. Things have changed around here. Now you aren't expected to deal off-site without first starting the conversation onsite via dms. Even if you do go off-site for easier communications , final details and payment etc you should do onsite to protect yourself . So sorry for your loss, but actually with this Security 101, BHW has actually become safer. Fewer disputes and all that. I think the mods can speak better about the stats.
