I got scammed for 9k on drainer

Very sorry for your loss. This is a lesson for members here never to connect any wallet with funds to any site. No matter how reputed the website might seem.

It looked 100% legit
+ I didnt think instagram allow these kind of scam ads

It is gone. If you contact recovery services, they will do other types of scams with you.

You cannot get it back even call LE or coinbase. It believe they also buy coinbase acc. So it will be stealth coinbase account

You can't get it back, that money is now going through 100 different XMR wallets. Take it as a lesson, never download anything. Today it's a lot for you, you'll earn new money and you won't be fooled again

Hey man....I feel your pain! I have suffered from a couple of scams- 1 for $7.5K (a total newbie brain fade on my part) and another wallet drainer thing like yours...lucky that was only for $60 or so.

The way I look at it is to 1. Get much better at OPSEC & running all source code thru AI to check for malicious script and 2. a loss to carry fwd and used against future CGT.

I just got rekt for $9400 in ETH.

Like a complete idiot, I saw an ad on Instagram of "Greenfield Wallet" - some slick-looking “secure crypto wallet” with “exclusive access” and whatever other bullshit sounds legit. I clicked it. I connected my wallet to register. And in one second - literally one f*cking second - all my ETH was gone.

No prompt, no warning, I didn’t even sign anything. Or at least I thought I didn’t. Turns out it was some kind of wallet drainer.

I’m already messaging every crypto scam investigator on X I can find.

One of them replied and said the code, the wallet, the whole setup - it’s linked to something called Quark drainer. He even sent me a screenshot breaking it down.

I feel like an idiot. I thought I was careful. I’ve been in crypto for years. But that ad looked real. The site looked clean and i didnt see any warnings when i connected.

I see my ETH went to this wallet https://etherscan.io/address/0x03c69e50a6251fe1adbfb7f8504d58354eaa4f0b and it was funded from Coinbase. I already have an answer but... Is there any chance to find who is the owner of this wallet if I report this to Coinbase support?
