In the morning I accidentally dropped my phone on the floor. Since the screen looked fine, I didn’t think much of it and went on with my day.
After using my phone for few hrs, it started acting weird. The screen was moving on its own and apps were opening by themselves. I thought my phone was hacked. I restarted it but while entering the passcode the last number would not press. After a few tries I managed to log in. I then tried to turn off mobile data but whenever I went to settings the screen closed by itself.
I decided to reset my phone but whenever I tried to enter the passcode random numbers appeared on the screen. I called Apple support from another phone and they helped me reset it. After restarting the touch still did not work properly.
Then they told me that no one hacked my phone and it was just a touch issue because I had dropped it in the morning.
In the end I reset my phone and lost 15k photos and vids (no backup)
My advice for anyone using an iPhone is to always update your iOS and keep a backup of your data.
