[AMA] From SEO Salaryman to $1,500/Month in the iGaming Niche — How I Did It

I didn’t do anything “magical” — the fastest way I got into the top 100 was by nailing the basics early:
  • Strong on-page from day 1 (target keyword in URL, title, H1, content, and internal links)
  • Solid technical setup (fast load speed, no errors, mobile-friendly)
  • Early foundation links (social profiles, Google stack, bio links) to get indexed and send authority signals
Once Google recognized the site and indexed enough pages, it naturally started ranking somewhere in the top 100 — from there it was just about pushing it up.
Do you have a good provider for fundations likes ? Every time i paid for it it fucked my blogs up

Yeah bro, I know the pain — a lot of “foundation link” sellers blast junk and it ends up doing more harm than good.

Personally, I don’t buy them anymore. I run everything through my own agency (iBETSEO) where we build:
  • Social profiles / citations / Google stack — safe, clean, and long-term value
  • Manual profiles + Web 2.0s — created by hand, no automation

That way I know exactly what goes live, how it’s indexed, and I don’t have to worry about random providers messing up my sites.

The main problem that i have is that all my websites are french ones, i don't know if there is no risks when creating profile links on nonn-english website. You usually create 40-50 articles and create fundation links many months after ? Or do you do it early

For French sites, creating profile links on non-French platforms is fine. Google doesn’t care if the foundation links are in English, as long as the profile/site itself is natural and indexed. In fact, mixing languages in your backlink profile can look more organic.

I don’t wait too long. Usually I publish the first 20–30 articles, then start rolling out foundation links within the first month. The idea is to give Google signals early that the site is “real” — social profiles, Google stack, citations, etc.

Whats your website framework? WordPress or any other CMS?
I mostly work with WordPress for my sites. It’s flexible, easy to scale, and has tons of plugins for SEO and speed optimization.

Do you run FB ads too?
I want to try FB ads first on LATAM (Brazil), and i need some advice to running ads on facebook

So, it looks very simple, just keep buying links?
Not exactly, bro. It might look like I’m just “buying links,” but the truth is the process is more strategic:
  • Right Links, Right Order – It’s not about throwing money; it’s about choosing the right types (social, foundations, PBN, guest posts) and stacking them in a natural sequence.
  • Velocity & Timing – If you go too fast, you risk penalties. If you go too slow, you won’t move in competitive niches. The trick is balancing velocity.
  • Anchors & Relevance – Links only work if anchor text is varied and placed on relevant sites/pages. Wrong anchors = sandbox or stuck.
  • Content + Tech First – Links amplify what’s already solid. If the site structure, speed, and content aren’t optimized, links won’t save it.
So yeah, links are the fuel - but you still need the right engine (site quality) and the right driver (strategy).

In my country: porn, betting is illegal here. I want to build a website as an agent, AM for porn, betting niche. Can you give me some advice?

Do you happen to understand the language to review if the content is well written before your posts go live?

If porn/betting is illegal in your country, but you still want to be an affiliate/agent:
  • Go offshore → Domain + hosting outside your country, with privacy/WHOIS protection.
  • Stay affiliate, not operator → Build review/funnel sites, don’t run the actual betting/porn service yourself.
  • Payments → Use Skrill, crypto, or offshore accounts. Never connect to local banks.
  • Affiliate networks →
    • Adult → CrakRevenue, PlugRush, TrafficJunky
    • iGaming → Income Access, MyAffiliates
  • Traffic →
    • SEO (brand + GEO intent keywords)
    • Paid → ExoClick, TrafficJunky, PopAds (cloaking if needed for FB/Google).
  • Safety → Separate personal identity from the project. Don’t register locally.

Sorry do you mean "when you order content in another language, do you personally understand that language well enough to review if it’s good before publishing? Or do you just trust the writers and post it without checking?"

Yes, it might look simple but that’s only because I’ve built up the experience to know which links, in what order, and at what timing.

can you explains more details about the timing ? thanks !

Good question. By “timing,” I mean when and how fast you release each type of link.
  • Month 1: Foundations only
Social profiles, citations, Web 2.0s, Google stack. This builds the base and makes the site look natural before pushing power links.
  • Month 2 : Light authority
A handful of niche edits, branded anchors, and some contextual links. The goal is to move the site into the top 100 without tripping filters.
  • Month 3+: Power links
Once the site is already showing life (indexing + early rankings), then I layer in high-quality PBNs and guest posts at a steady pace. This is where the real push comes.

The mistake I see most beginners make is dropping power links too early or too many at once. Timing is about matching link velocity to where the site stands in Google’s trust curve. Too much too soon = footprint.

This is just a sample of how I do it — I’ll share a more detailed breakdown in another post soon.

How you get clients in seo niche?
For me, client acquisition in the SEO niche has always been about authority + trust.
  • Authority posts – I share case studies, AMA threads, and results (like this one). This attracts inbound leads who already see me as credible.
  • Direct outreach – I target brands in competitive niches (iGaming, finance, crypto) and show them how I can beat their competition. Not spammy, just personalized messages with data.
  • Communities – Forums like BHW, LinkedIn groups, and niche Telegram/Discord channels are all places where serious buyers hang out.
  • Referrals – Once you deliver results for a few, word spreads fast. This is honestly the strongest source.

Have you used automation software for building backlinks?
How do you decide where to place them or which sources to buy them from?
