Hey BHW Brothers and Sisters,

After the success of my first post (which got way more love than I expected ), I’m back to share another story from the trenches.

This time, it’s my journey from a regular SEO employee to making $1,500/month (and up to $5K at peak) in the iGaming affiliate niche — with 100% SEO traffic.

Right now, my income streams are split into three parts:
  1. SEO Services — clients in high-competition niches
  2. Affiliate in the iGaming niche — what today’s AMA is about
  3. Selling SEO tools & automation solutions
But in this post, I’ll focus only on my iGaming affiliate journey and exactly how I took a brand-new keyword from zero to page 1 in just 2 months.

Where & What I Targeted

  • Countries: Vietnam , Thailand , Singapore
  • Brands Promoted: VN88, Happyluke, EU9
  • Traffic Source: 100% SEO (Google + Cốc Cốc in Vietnam)
  • Main Asset: Exact Domain Match (EDM) sites — e.g., Happyluke.plus — built and optimized for homepage dominance.

Quick Results

  • Ranked #1 Happyluke (Vietnam), #3 (Thailand)
  • Average monthly income: ~$1,500
  • Peak month: $5,000
  • Conversion rate: Much higher than generic terms thanks to pure brand-intent traffic

Phase 1 — Foundation

Goal: Make sure the site is rock solid before going live
Timeline: 1 month

  1. Website Structure — I made my landing page look as close as possible to the original brand site.
    • Pages: 18 (About Us, Affiliate Page, How to Create an Account, How to Login, etc.)
    • Categories: 6 (Sports Betting, Live Casino, Fishing Game, etc.)
    • Posts: 108 (Slot game reviews like Fortune Tiger, Wizard of Oz, etc.)
    • Total: 132 pages in total
  2. Content Ordering — Vietnam has cheap content costs, so I scaled hard to make content volume my strength.
  3. On-page Optimization — Using experience + SEOQuake checks
  4. Technical Setup — Fast load speed, secure, no basic errors before launch

Phase 2 — Warm-Up

Goal: Get out of the sandbox & onto page 2+
Timeline: ~2 months

Link Stack Order:
Social profiles → Google stacking → Bio profiles → Media links → Podcast links → Cloud stacking

I kept link velocity slow and steady, repeating the cycle until I saw movement past page 2.
(Inspired by Matt Diggity’s link building blueprint — worth checking out.)

Phase 3 — Pushing

Once rankings moved up, I went heavy on high-quality, relevant guest posts.
No gimmicks — just pushing consistent authority and relevance into the site until it hit top 5.

Lessons Learned

  • EDM still works — if combined with strong content and solid backlinks
  • Homepage-only focus can beat bigger authority sites in brand-intent SERPs
  • Local SEO signals (hosting, language, structure) matter more in SEA iGaming than many think
  • Track CPC & conversions, not just traffic — in this niche, 1 click can be worth $100+

❓ Ask Me Anything

Want to know:
  • How I structure my backlinks?
  • How I pick the right EDM?
  • How I get cheap but quality content?
  • How I avoid over-optimization while targeting brand keywords?
Drop your questions below — I’ll answer every single one.

What do you mean hosting matters? Hosting location you mean?

Also, can you share how you structured and wrote your homepage? Thanks!!

Thanks for support bottingisfine

1) What do you mean hosting matters? Hosting location you mean?

Yeah — hosting location can slightly help Google understand which country you’re targeting, kind of like how hreflang works. It’s especially useful for countries that use English (like Malaysia or Singapore). But honestly, it’s not a huge ranking factor — more like a small boost when combined with other local signals.

I'm not using local hosting due to they not accept igaming.

2) Also, can you share how you structured and wrote your homepage? Thanks!!
I usually structure the homepage to look similar to the original brand’s website — but I make it better.

For example: most official casino sites don’t include FAQs, affiliate info, or extra trust sections. By adding these and improving the overall structure, I can often outrank the brand’s own site.

Basically, my homepage follows this flow:
  1. Top Casino Bonuses – Bonus cards, filters, trust badges, and links to bonus pages.
  2. Game Categories – Cards for Slots, Live Casino, Sports, Jackpot, Table Games.
  3. Featured Games – Carousel of top games with RTP % and Play buttons.
  4. Why Choose Us – 3–5 trust points (licensed, fast payouts, 24/7 support).
  5. Promotions & Leaderboards – Tournaments, offers, cashback, top winners list.
  6. Getting Started – Simple 3-step guide (Register → Deposit → Play & Withdraw).
  7. Brand Comparison – Mini toplist linking to individual review pages.
  8. Mobile App – Download badges, APK link, mobile preview images.
  9. Educational Content – Legality, responsible gambling, licensing, payment guides.
  10. FAQ – Collapsible Q&A covering common topics.
  11. Footer – Quick links, license info, and responsible gambling links

Link Stack Order:
Social profiles → Google stacking → Bio profiles → Media links → Podcast links → Cloud stacking

what is this? tiered link building?
Social profiles → Google stacking → Bio profiles → Media links → Podcast links → Cloud stacking--moneysite
you have tiers6? You are crazy

Congrats for your success brother, Is that work for other niche as well!
Thanks bro, much appreciated!

Hmm… I’m not 100% sure about other niches, but for industries similar to iGaming — like crypto — it usually won’t work the same way because of trademark restrictions and legal enforcement. You’d need to check how strict the brand or industry is about protecting their names before going down this path.

Haha no, this isn’t tiered link building. I usually go up to a maximum of tier 2 (and even that I barely use).

What I shared is just my personal link-building order — the sequence I follow when building links directly to the money site.

Sorry but what is igaming and how does it work?

I googed, still a bit confused, is it an AD network?

So, it looks very simple, just keep buying links?
Yes, it might look simple but that’s only because I’ve built up the experience to know which links, in what order, and at what timing.

1) Sorry but what is igaming and how does it work?

iGaming = Internet Gaming — basically online gambling.

2) I googed, still a bit confused, is it an AD network?

It’s not an ad network itself — but most affiliates (like me) promote iGaming brands through affiliate programs.
That means:
  1. You send traffic to a casino/sportsbook.
  2. If the player deposits money, you get paid (either a flat fee per player or a % of their losses).
So the “business” part is really affiliate marketing, but the product is gambling.

how money you paid for guest posts?
is this guest post edu gov,or other?

How did you quickly get into the top 100?
I didn’t do anything “magical” — the fastest way I got into the top 100 was by nailing the basics early:
  • Strong on-page from day 1 (target keyword in URL, title, H1, content, and internal links)
  • Solid technical setup (fast load speed, no errors, mobile-friendly)
  • Early foundation links (social profiles, Google stack, bio links) to get indexed and send authority signals
Once Google recognized the site and indexed enough pages, it naturally started ranking somewhere in the top 100 — from there it was just about pushing it up.

im new to seo . where can i start iknow how to build hosting vps stuf and wordpress . and i have zero knowldge about seo can you guide me or any road map

Well, not a question, more of a comment. I'm essentially doing the same thing, but using parasite SEO. However, I've been considering building my own site instead. This feels like a bit of a wake-up call to me.

Haha yeah, I get that, bro — parasite SEO can work really well for quick wins, but building your own site is a long-term asset.

Feel freet to share anything here bro

True. Given how volatile Google is, especially with parasitic traffic, I need to plan for the long term, and that definitely means building my own site. I'm planning to start laying the groundwork by the end of this month.
