There is an issue with website indexing in Microsoft Bing. Bing takes a very long time to index new websites — at least two weeks, and sometimes it can take several months. Meanwhile, Google indexes websites immediately, on the day of registration or the next day.

I register new domains with no history. The Bing bot is not blocked in robots.txt, and I don’t use Cloudflare on the websites.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue with Bing? If so, please share how you resolved it.

I've had a site trying to get indexed on Bing for more than a month but for some strange reasons, Bing is refusing. Bing is just weird. Same way, most people don't know exactly what to do to rank on Bing. You just hope it works.

Bing can be slow with fresh domains. Submitting your URLs directly in Bing Webmaster Tools and adding a sitemap usually speeds things up. Getting a few quality backlinks early can also help Bing discover and index the site faster.

Yes, Bing can be slow with new domains. What’s helped me is manually submitting URLs via Bing Webmaster Tools, adding an XML sitemap, and getting a few quality backlinks early. It still takes longer than Google, but indexing speeds up noticeably.

Bing is usually slower at indexing new sites. The best way to speed things up is to add your site to Bing Webmaster Tools, submit URLs manually or via their API, and get a few good backlinks. Posting fresh, quality content regularly also helps Bing find your site faster.

Bing’s indexing speed can definitely feel frustratingly slow compared to Google. From what I’ve experienced, Bing tends to prioritize older, more authoritative domains and sites with strong backlink profiles, which could explain the delay for brand new domains.

A few things that helped me speed up Bing indexing:

Submit your sitemap directly in Bing Webmaster Tools

Build some initial quality backlinks or social signals to get the bot’s attention

Ensure your site loads fast and has clean, crawlable structure

Also, Bing’s crawl budget can be limited for brand new or low-authority sites, so it takes time to gain trust.

Has anyone else found any hacks or faster methods to get Bing indexing done? Would love to hear.

adding bing index plugin on WordPress could benefit chances to index website with post content SEO, getting wiki page is an additional to indexing option with bing.

yeah, bing is much slower than google when it comes to indexing new sites. i’ve seen it take weeks too. what helped me was manually submitting the urls in bing webmaster tools and building a few quality backlinks early on. sometimes even sharing the site on social platforms speeds things up. patience is key with bing—it’s just not as fast as google.

Yes, this is pretty normal with Bing. Unlike Google, Bing can take weeks or even months to pick up new domains. The best way to speed things up is by adding your site to Bing Webmaster Tools, submitting a sitemap, and getting some backlinks. Sharing your links on social platforms can also help Bing crawl your site faster.

Add your website in Bing Webmaster Tools. Submit your sitemap there. Use the URL submission tool for new pages. Share your site on social media or create backlinks. After that, you just need to wait because Bing is usually slower than Google.

Indexing delays are frequent but they usually get better as the website becomes more reliable over time and consistently updates its content

I’ve noticed the same delay recently seems like Bing’s crawler is slower to pick up new domains, even with clean setups.

Be patient. Bing indexes slow without some backlinks, and it indexes backlinks slow too.
