Google Chrome marked my new domain (expired) as Dangerous

Hello,
i just got what I thought was a great domain and it is marked as DANGEROUS by chrome, maybe it has even GSC penalty, I dont know that yet. Any tips how to recover from this? Other than that this domain has great pontetial. And the reason for that was "phishing" I beleive. I want to run a legit site on this domain.

if you don't care about ranking in google just keep the domain and do with it whatever you want. It's no one's business what you do with your toys (as long as you're not doing criminal stuff, of course).

If you do want to rank in google, however.... hmm, I don't know how to lift the penalty then, sorry

Yeah, maybe the domain was used for phishing before. Add it to Google Search Console, clean it up, and request a review.

first of all i would look into the history of the domain. the past security issues associated with an expired domain might come to affect u. it must be cleaned thoroughly to enssure that there is nothing bad in it then ask for a review.

expired domain might have had some kind of history when it comes to security concerns. The first step is to look at their history, and find out what google search console has to say about them.

Initially, I will conduct research regarding the history of the website using tools like the wayback machine nd security reports. If this website has ever been identified as a phishing website, I will clean it and re-verify it via Google Search Console.

sure, the legacy domains will retain their legacy security badge for some time. clear out the old usage nd request a reconsideration through GSC.

Ofc, an expired domain may have issues, but first I would look into its history nd discard all the suspicious things nd request a review in GSC.

expired domains seem to keep their security flag for quite some time. I would review their history nd do a cleanup if needed before submitting an application to GSC.

First check google safe browsing & gsc for security issues or manual actions, if the domain has a phishing history clean any malicious content, verify ownership, fix the cause & request a review, don't build heavily on it until the warning is cleared

domain is flagged phishing so check gsc for manual penalties first then scan for malware and submit a review request through chrome safety center since u cant just fix it and make it go away instantly u gotta prove ur site is clean now.
