This is a big win for SEO teams trying to balance automation with authenticity. Ahrefs now flags pages with AI-written content, helping you:

Maintain EEAT standards
Spot thin or over-optimized AI content
Prioritize pages for human-like rewrites
Stay ahead of Google’s evolving content quality signals

We’re in an era where AI assists content, not replaces it. And tools like Ahrefs are evolving fast to help us do just that.

Pro tip: Don’t just look at whether content is AI or not focus on whether it solves the user’s problem better than anyone else.

Hello! Couldn’t agree more - AI’s a helper, not the hero , I like the emphasis on solving user problems

I think this is a useful feature, it'll help you know which keywords you can rank for with AI content. But something to have in mind is that most AI detectors are prone to making mistakes, so some pages marked as AI could actually not be AI.

Will have to test it how accurate it is. Probably by starting with our own content. But Helpful indeed!

This Ahrefs AI-content metric is a neat heads up, but I wouldn’t worry only about the AI score. It’s more important to focus on clarity, usefulness, and real insights for your readers.

That's smart move by Ahrefs. Its no longer about just publishing - its about quality and trust. This helps spot weak AI content early and improve ir for real user value. Solid step for anyone serious about long-term SEO.

Wow, nice Update. I’m wondering if SEMrush can do the same thing

That point about actually helping the user really stood out to me. I am still new to it but it feels like that should always be the main goal with content. I will keep that in mind as I move forward. Thank you for the update.
