I didn't make a full comparison of SMTP servers like powermta, mailerq, postal, kumomta or others, so I can not tell with great detail.

The issue in all the above SMTP servers is how to find some good working configs to use as templates, as examples to build your own

My niche is the Make Money Online Niche, looking for Buyers in the Software Products Industry, especially in the Artificial Intelligence Sector
i m interest in KumoMTA. but is some complicated to config
how outperforms PMTA on lower end spec machines ?

powermta can work with 1 CPU 512mb - 1 gb ram , kumomta can do that ?
How did you get subscriber lists?

Get help from some AI tool, it will generate templates to start, and than you can tune for further improvement

I use KumoMTA, drastically outperforms PMTA on lower end spec machines.
Double optin emailing for a few customers I get about 50K/hour per IP on a 16GB ram server. Slows down to about 20K/hour if I add more than 8 IP'S, but I think that's my hardware causing a bottleneck.
Glad to see that some one are using kumomta too, maybe we can exchange some ideas, I just configured kumomta on my vps with 10 ips, warmup with instantly(not sure if it will do the job though)

The sender you’re using would still need to have aged/warmed SMTPs to be able to hit inbox, otherwise you’ll just be doing send-outs straight in to spamfolder.

For BH email tools, you can look into GSA Email Spider or MailerKing – they’re popular in the space. For lists, try scraping niche forums or use tools like Hunter.io or Apollo for targeted leads. Just be careful with deliverability and warm-up your accounts properly.

GSA Email Spider? the app that hasnt been sold since 2016? yes im sure that will work amazingly well mr bot

  • Sendy+powerMTA on your own server
  • Atomic sender + any custom SMTP server
  • Labnify for high volume cold email
  • WarmupInbox if you need to warmup sender
  • MailerQ infrastructure, an alternative to PMTA

Don't use "labnify" its this guys service and the deliverability is 0, doesnt respond after you pay

It's a constantly evolving landscape. Many prefer custom setups or private methods. The key is finding reliable sources for contact information and a sending method that gets through. Spend time reading threads here; you'll find plenty of discussions on effective strategies. Just be prepared to put in the work to find what suits your needs.

Hi
I use below feature outlook.rollup. Powermta will generate many queues like q1.outlook.rollup q2.outlook.rollup and so on.

<mx-rollup-list>
mx *.mail.protection.outlook.com outlook.rollup rollup-by-ip
</mx-rollup-list>

Does anybody know how do i make these queues into only one queue so that i can control this one queue better?

I also test it to use "smtp-hosts lookup-mx:outlook.com" this directive can make "mx *.mail.protection.outlook.com outlook.rollup" only one queue but these are many office365 email address cann't be sent sucessfully. like below

5.5.0 (unknown protocol-related status)smtp;550 5.5.0 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable (S2017062302). [SJ1PEPF0000231F.namprd03.prod.outlook.com 2025-11-08T13:50:59.256Z 08DE1E924DB17826]

Simple go on github, a wealth of scripts and different projects... do searches on powermta/pmta etc and you will find different configurations to test... There is not a 1 size fit all config because people have different mailing strategies and methods.. each isp is different... if you are mailing gi then settings will be fast... if someone is mailing b2c or planning to do slow and roll cold email then the emails will be slow like 6-10-20/hr etc so it really depends on what you are tryng to do...

Chatgpt doesn't help too much for kumomta, deepseek is even worse
I may suggest start from the following link
https://docs.kumomta.com/reference/configuration/
also, u can use this https://deepwiki.com/KumoCorp/kumomta its a devin ai that has access to the kumomta docs
