Will blocking one account affect another account?

Definitely, it's an error to launch a new account on the device where the previous account got flagged. The IP will be linked. If you had 3 accounts running in one phone, all of it would be banned if one does get flagged.
he wont know until he trys it. 50/50

A blocked Instagram account puts your existing account at risk due to shared devices/IPs and potential behavioral markers, but you can protect it by unlinking credentials, controlling activity, and switching networks. Creating a new account on the same phone is risky and will likely result in a blocked account unless you use a new device, new credentials, and proxy and upgrade gradually.

Quite a few factors affect that and it largely depends on those. The chances are really high that it'd affect your other accounts if the device fingerprint is the same across the accounts, which is likely because same account. IP address being the same also makes that even more likely. Behavioural patterns are much the same but it's the first two that's really likely to get you.
Depending on how bad it is, the whole device fingerprint may be compromised. That said, you can keep using IG on that device but you'll want to tread lightly. If Meta flags the whole device then you're accounts created or accessed on it won't be long for this digital world.

Yeah it can affect your other accounts, esp if they’re on the same device, IP or using similar info. IG tracks all that. If you’re making a new one, use a different IP, new email, maybe reset device IDs if possible. Warm it up slow.

If your previous Instagram account was banned, a new account on the same phone might also get flagged due to device/IP tracking. To reduce the risk, use a new email/phone, change your IP (VPN or mobile data), and avoid aggressive posting or similar content styles.

After posting too many ads, my Instagram account was banned. Now, I have another account on the same phone. Will this affect that account? Will it be okay or will there be problems if I create a new account?
Are you using the same device and same ip ?

Getting a new device works best to some level, these guys are getting out of hand, two or three phones coexisting in a room could be linked if done quickly. Trying to create a fresh account with another device just after you were banned, raises a flag.

Thank you all. Is there any way not to get a new device? There aren't that many devices!

Instagram takes policy violations very seriously. If your account is locked for excessive promotion or unnatural behavior (such as spam or automated interactions), Instagram may place a monitoring system on your device. This may result in other accounts on the same device being locked if they engage in similar or policy-violating behavior.

New accounts may be detected: If your account is locked and Instagram detects that you have created a new account on the same device, they may conduct a closer look and even lock the new account if they notice any suspicious behavior (such as posting too many promotions, using automated tools, etc.)

It might affect it, Instagram tracks more than just the account itself. Things like device ID, IP address, even behavior patterns can trigger flags. I’ve had a fresh account get shadowbanned within a week just because it was on the same phone.

That said, sometimes it’s fine. If your new account stays clean, no spammy posting, gradual activity, it can survive. But if you immediately go back to heavy ad posting, there’s a real risk of another ban.
