After posting too many ads, my Instagram account was banned. Now, I have another account on the same phone. Will this affect that account? Will it be okay or will there be problems if I create a new account?

if your Instagram ads account is banned by content violation issue then could not be a problem for second account but if its ip issue then maybe your second account also will be banned.

Definitely, it's an error to launch a new account on the device where the previous account got flagged. The IP will be linked. If you had 3 accounts running in one phone, all of it would be banned if one does get flagged.

META will track the fingerprints on your phone. If one account is banned, other accounts on the device may be marked soon. Setting up a new configuration file on the same mobile phone or IP address usually triggers danger signals. Don't take chances. Once you are tracked by the platform, your other accounts will also be detected.

Exactly. Meta is very strict, regarding accounts doing ads.

From what we noticed, if there are multiple accounts under the same app container, the other ones will be at a higher risk of suspension. Thats not always the case but something to look out for.

It will have an impact, because the IP address is the same. So when you just start a new account, you should reduce the output of ads and start again after it stabilizes.

I saw someone on the forum share that you can use the airplane mode to solve it.

When you turn on the airplane mode, wait for a while and then turn it off. At this time, the phone will reassign a new IP address. Now you can try to download and install IG again. Maybe it will work.

I beg to differ - the IP address for a mobile phone is not "the same". Unlike static IP addresses from a physical location (e.g. when using a desktop computer at home or work), IP addresses on mobile phones are dynamically assigned, meaning that they constantly change, sometimes within minutes. That's because mobile phones connect to cellular towers, which have a massive pool of IP addresses from where IP addresses are assigned to mobile phones as they connect in & out of the towers. A good way to test it, use an ip checker website (just google one on your phone), then either turn your airplane mode on/off or move between areas and you'll see that the IP changes.

So IP will not be an issue with a phone. But Instagram collects other "fingerprint" / device tracking info (nobody knows exactly what) and that can potentially be used to allow/disallow the creation of a new account.

The low cost option - start with erasing all Meta apps (IG, FB) and related data on your phone. Then try again.

The pricier option - if the above fails, sign up to an anti-detect phone or anti-detect browser service and use that setup. There is plenty of info on those types tools and setups here on BHW (use the search function above to look it up).

OK, thanks. Any solutions?

It would affect if you do too many ads again, you need to try and see as there is no fixed answer to this.

It will be flagged, not directly impacted, but it will definitely have an effect.

It'll be best to use an account being held at different location than this banned account. Else there might be some hidden issues/limitations associated with it.

You can replace it with a new account. It will make your account more stable.

I had a similar situation before, got one account banned after heavy posting, and then used another on the same device. From what I’ve seen, Instagram does seem to link accounts by device and IP, so there's definitely some risk involved. It might work fine at first, but issues can pop up later. If you’re planning to create a new account, consider using a fresh device setup or at least change IP/device ID to stay safer. Curious if others here have found ways to manage this long-term.

Do not log in to that account again with the same device and the same IP address, if you have logged in before, your account is in danger.

Yes, if you use the same device, your account is easily detected and associated by the platform. It's best to use an anti detection browser.
