Cloaking in 2025 – Still Viable or Dead Tactic?

Hey,

I was reading some old threads about cloaking and started wondering—does anyone still use cloaking successfully in 2025?

With how advanced Google has become, especially with AI and pattern detection, is cloaking still working for:

• CPA offers?
• Local lead gen?
• Affiliate promos?

Or is it just a fast track to deindexing these days?

Not asking for methods (unless you want to share ), but just curious if anyone here is still seeing ROI from cloaking — or if it’s one of those tactics best left in the past.

Would appreciate any input or recent experiences.

Cloaking is still working I am running some ads for CBD business and using cloaking technique it is working really amazing. You just need to have patience and slowly increase budget and if you notice drop in traffic turn off your campaign in cloaking and when traffic get back to normal just turn on traffic campaign. That said, affiliates pushing high-risk CPA stuff (like gambling or CBD or crypto) are still seeing solid ROI, especially on native, push, and yeah, even some Meta traffic if you know what you're doing. Though local lead gen cloaking is not as common, but still working in sketchy ad policy zones. Soo, cloaking’s not dead, just evolved. If you're not running custom scripts, cycling aged accounts, and keeping everything tight and fresh, you’re toast.

yes it works but you need more technical knowledge of technology

There are niches where cloaking is pretty much the only viable option for any sort of meaningful traffic, and it'll continue to be effective as long as the tech can correctly recognise what content should be shown to what set of users.
