This time is serious, SEO is REALLY dying

I think that the small players will surfer too much. I wouldn t recommend to someone to start a blog or this kind of bullshit. The only form of seo that will survive is local SEO the rest is going to dead. AI is not communist trust me.

What about corn?

Do you think google will enable it's AI to answer to our corn queries also?

Because right now Gemini isn't answering my corn related queries.

What do you mean by corn queries ?
I am a farmer. Daily I get urges to watch corn videos. And for that I go to google and write the category of corn that I want to watch.

So No More Corn if Google gets whole AI mode?

Since Gemini Isn't answering me that means google ai mode will not too.

SEO isn’t dead it’s evolving into reputation-driven AI optimization where trust, branding, and social signals matter more than keywords.

I don't know what you really mean by "traditional SEO", but from what I remember, the oldest form of SEO was dead the day Google released its first algorithm.
You can no longer do shitty stuff in order to rank.
As for AI, and something dying, the world has always continue to evolve and everything eventually comes to an end.
So if you feel that your version of SEO is really dying, it is time to up your game.
Because people will continue to consume information and visit websites.
All of my mindset shifted the day I started to understand that "change is the only consistency".

I can now stay in the first place with ads, I have done a lot of work for SEO, I think I will see the effects in 1 month. I think it is necessary to use the power of social media platforms to come to the first place in keywords with medium competition.

I think AI will not replace humans, because humans have many ideas, but AI is a fixed program, and SEO will not die out.

SEO isn't dying, but it's evolving user intent, content quality, and AI are now the main focus.

No new knowledge then. It's just rewriting what it already knows
Where do humans get new knowledge, and how do they discover it? Do you really believe that AI can't learn to do the same? Is it reasonable to assume that AI will always rely solely on human input to gain new insights? AI isn't just parroting back what humans have already created, it's also learning how humans uncover new knowledge in the first place. It's studying the patterns, methods, and leaps of intuition that lead to discovery. And once it understands that process, who’s to say it won’t innovate on its own? SEO is very dead, accept it!

AI is really the future :)

That is mimicking not intelligence a parrot does the same thing it copies what already exists. The modern day mechanical turk

they have inspiration mechanisms that (I believe, but I can't prove) are embedded into our psyche (into the subconscious more precisely), but I don't know more as it's an elusive topic for me...

Do you really believe that AI can't learn to do the same?
I do! Or rather, I feel like this is true, but - once again - I can't prove it since I'm not knowledgeable enough on how the AI works besides being manually stuffed with knowledge by humans, and adjusted / improved (once again, manually) by people.

If you leave the AI on its own - despite of how perfect it might seem at the moment - I think it will be surpassed in knowledge in a few years (in less than a decade I would wager) by the new generation of people who get born with improved knowledge...

Is it reasonable to assume that AI will always rely solely on human input to gain new insights?
100%

AI isn't just parroting back what humans have already created, it's also learning how humans uncover new knowledge in the first place. It's studying the patterns, methods, and leaps of intuition that lead to discovery. And once it understands that process, who’s to say it won’t innovate on its own?
you're giving too much credit to the AI, man! The AI is just a dumb machine full of data and integrated circuits, unplug it from the internet / other data networks and it can't do shit anymore. Its validity (or "life" if you prefer to "humanize" the iron) is valid only within the wires, in real life AI can't live (duh!), can't improve itself, can't recognize that it's not human and has no soul, it can't recognize that it's inferior, it can't even discern what is good vs what is bad (unless people program it to "know" that thing and make it mimic human affections, sentiments, emotions, etc).

Which, by the way, the AI doesn't have any of these, simply because - despite of its name - the AI has no intelligence and the emotions / feelings / affections are always connected to the intelligence, whatever this is...

Anyway, I agree with your point that SEO is dead, but I don't agree that the AI will ever surpass human knowledge or that it can ever have a life on its own.... Ok, within the circuitry and wires and data centers, etc probably that AI is supreme, but it can't evolve like humans can. The human brain is truly the superior (and probably ultimate) organ in the Universe, it's us - the humans - who have created the AI, not the other way around. And pull the plug and the AI is just ewaste :)

Good question
Not sure about how they are going to deal with +18 queries
Maybe they will enable it after a +18 verification :D

I do believe it can learn but it needs sources. So by your comparison to humans, imagine a guy that gets banned from all libraries and all websites. Where is he going to learn? Same thing with AI. By stealing everyone's content, they get shut off from sources.
