Why no one talks about conversion issues in dropshipping anymore?

Okay, real talk.
Everyone’s obsessed with finding “winning products,” viral ads, and automating the hell outta everything. But what happens when you actually get traffic... and no one buys?
I’ve been running my store for a while – niche is fine, traffic’s coming in (mostly TikTok organic and some FB/IG stuff), but my conversion rate is straight-up garbage. Like 0.3%–0.6% on average. That’s with people adding to cart, too. It’s painful.
Here’s what I think is messing most of us up:

• Stores look sketchy AF
• CTAs are lazy or too generic
• Product pages look like everyone else’s
• Customers are tired of long shipping, crap service, and cloned websites

I recently switched my store over to Sellvia, mostly 'cause they offer faster US shipping and done-for-you product pages that don’t look like AliExpress garbage. That helped a bit with trust, for sure. Plus their built-in email and social kits save time.
But still conversions are tricky unless your whole funnel is tight.

Bro, Ad traffic today are bots or people from Philippine hired on https://www.peopleperhour.com/ to click on your products , add to cart and not finalise the process.

Install Hotjar on your website, check how people are navigating it, why they stop, why they click what they click. Then adjust CRO.

position yourself almost like the founder of the product. dont create those silly dropshippy videos. tons of tutorials on how to create a trustworthy branded dropshipping store. get reviews from aliexpress and amazon. test different offers and look for suppliers with quicker shipping times on facebook.
