1. On my major site i have good and almost "exclusive" content and therefor i can be a bit more aggressive with ads. Here's my ad-setup so far

Mobile Banner in Header
Mobile Banner Under Video
Big PC Banner under video
Skyscraper PC banner on right side of video
Link in menu to rev-share offer.
3x PopUps per user in 24h
PopUnder when someone starts playing video (2 min delay between popunders
Video-preroll every 3 videos

2. Focus on good content and target specific keywords, pretty much all my traffic is from google or returning users.

Yeah, same.. My adhd kicked in, so most of the time (months actually) I spent on finding reliable partners / affiliates etc. (that pay in crypto) and implement ads. Since I'm using WP I also tried a whole bunch o' plugins.

I may have exaggerated "a bit". But it feels WAY less annoying when the ads are interesting. And the conversion rate is also worlds apart from that usual stuff.


Did you track (at least roughly) how long it took 'till Google noticed you effectively and things started to take off?

I'd say after 4-5 months i notice huge growth in traffic that kept growing. I'm not gonna lie i've hit a plateau the last few months that i'm really working hard on to break.

From your experience in SEO, does 3x PopUps per user in 24h going to affect Google ranking?

Isn't Google dislike Popups/PopUnder, how do you make it in a ways that's not having negative impact in user experience and still Google friendly?

Ofcourse it hurts a little bit but you kinda have to find a good balance which i believe i've done.

I'm sure my traffic would be better if i had 0 pops but at the end of the day i'm doing this to make money.

Stripcash for rev-share
Hosting company same as my signature as they are off-shore and reliable.

Time for a small update guys!

Site 1: Total revenue per day - 150-170 USD
Site 2: Total revenue per day - 20-30 USD

This is from PopUp and and Popunder.

What i have changed:

Moved the following ad formats to rev-share program. I did this to try and build up very long-term "passive" income that will "hopefully" pay me if i decide to stop with this project. So far there's a few sales but really nothing to report (YET). My projection is that i will get more first sales and retain them so it will be a snowball effect. with higher and higher income over time.

If i would have these formats with my CPM advertiser i would probably reach 300+/day but im sacrificing "direct" money for hopefully even more in the long-term.

- VAST ads.
- Banners.
- 50% of PopUnder traffic goes here.

What im working on:
My current goal is to retain users on "site 1" and try to get the same numbers on "site 2". However, my second site is in a less popular niche so i will be happy if i surpass 100+/day. After that it's time to start site 3 and keep going!

Here is my current challenges:

- Growth on "site 1" has stagnated and is very hard to grow now.
- Lots and i mean....LOTS of fake-DMCA claims. It's getting very hard to deal with now.
- CDN costs is slowly increasing and i need to keep growing either site to make up the "difference"
- With more content, i get less storage. i have around 16TB left on my current server. This is about 58% of total. It's not a big deal at the moment since it will PROBABLY last throughout next year "2026".

It's a few months old. I had another "site 2" earlier but shut it down and started this one.
I do counter-dmca when they go for my homepage but really it's too much to handle right now. Probably 50-100 dmca claims some days.

I only have English websites.
