Claude - Model Context Protocol MCP

As a developer I cant express how relevant this update is. This web standard is really going to change the whole industry - when you hear some CEO says bs like "people will need to find meaning", "artificial intelligence (ai) is going to replace workforce" and "dont teach children how to program" this is the reason why.
As a full stack developer the impact this technology will have is so profound that I fell the need to post something about it somewhere. What a better place than the making money forum at bhw to contribute something to the ppl that have taught me so much.
What is MCP?
An artificial intelligence framework to build applications - it is strictly a framework (meaning a group of digital functions, classes and objects prebuilt and working together to produce some output). It is not limited to one company, it just happened to be that Antropic is the first company to achieve a functional system architecture on MCP.
Wy I care?
Expect in the future a chat like interface and you saying to typing to your assistant : I want you to start a business, go to zenBussiness open a company, go to shopify, open a store, go to click bank find top 10 products and scrape the images, move the images to capcut and give them a corporate style, update the products to shopify, go to facebook ads and submit a campaign with the material in my folder "ads" with the caption "promotion today 10%".
Expect the ai doing each step I mentioned without me having to code anything or supervising if i dont want to. How? MCP
How MCP works?
On the article at the beginning of this post you can find the source. However, the general idea is giving your chatbot API credentials and set a configuration in a JSON formatted file. You dont have to specify what each of the endpoints (tools) the api have or even what each of the endpoints do, the ai infer everything for you. Through api's the ai can perform actions on the web and through the desktop application it can retrieve and store information on your computer.
Search for some video on you tube and you will realize how profound this tech will hit the end consumers and companies.
What to expect?
No blogs, less ads, less front end development for saas. Imagine waking up and dont have to go through google for anything. Connect your chatbot to alexa, siri or some voice assistant and you wont even have to turn on your phone.
How to make money in the future?
There is always laggards on new markets + older people probably wont use this technology until it becomes deeply embedded on everything we do. However I expect people still interacting on social media and web3 solutions just to explore for new services and new products - but worst case scenario everything will become Meta + Google. Since this companies already have all the infra in place its would be very easy for them to jump from digital to tangible products either with the main brand or puppet companies, even now more that we can expect humanoid robots in the mid-long term ( jump to min 6
).
Personal thoughts
Unless all people become brain death (im sure some portion will) I expect people to go back to the basics. Imagine this technology used to optimize algorithms, ads and videogames. Its not hard to imagine kids looking how f* up people who choose the digital world end up and taking the choice to make something different for themselves - meaning people preferring more social events, impression through printed ads become come effective, and an overall reduction on time on screen. You can even start looking this trend in younger ppl (12 - 18) having no photos on social media or even profiles.
I can see many people in the future doing fact-checker companies, tunning personal assistants, organizing events in-person events remotely, editing photos / videos, GetApp solutions and ppl moving to web3 (since you can monetize your IP and online activity and content creation on web3 in a much easier and reliable way)
Plus all the classics like coaching, consulting, and maybe OF ? will prevail.
Definitely see SEO ppl and affiliates having a harder time tho. Maybe in the future the affiliate programs are not about how to convince people to buy some product but to make them use some virtual assistant.
**STILL NOT CLEAR WHAT MCP IS? Go to you tube and search for some videos " MCP Anthropic "
What are your thoughts?
How do you think people will make money online in 5-10 years?
