Uploading to tiktok from iPhone camera roll

I am targeting viewers in another country and always upload to tiktok through capcut but this time I uploaded direct from the camera roll and my video has no views. This has happened before on my regular account. Does anyone know if tiktok blocks videos that are uploaded through ios camera roll?. I don’t appear to have been shadowbanned as still getting views and likes on other videos. I have made the video private but should I just delete it and make changes and repost through capcut?

Thank you, this is very helpful. I use the sim card method and a 4g mobile proxy without any problems until today so will stick to uploading from capcut.

The worst thing about TikTok is any little change can affect views. I remember posting frequently and getting 20-50k views a video and then posting while on holiday and got 300 views and when I returned from holiday the views dropped to 200-400 views per video.

Also matter of account age. If you create account and 5 minutes later uploading videos, no, this will not work.
Use it like normal user, play with app, like, comment, search your niche and interact with your niche videos.
Run app few times / day and on day 3rd record video.

Try deleting and re-uploading through CapCut to see if it restores normal engagement.

I upload every 5 days without any issues with views and likes. The problem just occurred today when I uploaded from camera roll instead of capcut like I normally do.

TikTok sometimes limits reach on direct camera roll uploads. Try deleting and re-uploading through CapCut.
