Some months ago we started an AI review site based on GMaps business in Japan, it started very good but some days ago the traffic disappear.
Do you think G discovered the AI generated content? We also have another websites with the same look/cms but on other languages without a problem.

I think it might have been affected by a Google update. Buy an expired domain, slap the same content on it over a period of one month or so, and check how it performs.

Could be but also could be something from the season, traffic was really good, you are not totally out because still have a really good ammount of traffic I will think that was something else but not the AI content unless you are just copy pasting without editing it.

Your domain might be penalized. You can check Google Algo updates. You can make changes accordingly and see if you are able to revive it or not.

I forgot to say the domain is an expired domain name but has not spam links and also it's a Japanese domain (.jp), all content it's on japanese too.

Yes, they can easily detect it cause these days, a whole lot of AI contents are out there. So it’s easy for goggle to detect now.

Hmm, maybe they flagged the Japanese content specifically since their search algorithms might be better tuned for that language? Have you tried diversifying the AI sources for the reviews?

April will be the worst for seo, absolutely abysmal after your Gmail becomes scanned by ai with no opt out, it will be the end of SEO.

Why well it's collecting information and if you have a site with x,y,z, or back link, or forwarding request, ai will determine it's risk factors and inform the user meaning it never gets weaponised or used.

And that's just the start

We post everyday starting from 10 post/day and then softly increasing the number day by day, also we continue posting not matter what happens with traffic. All new and unique content, but IA generated.
