I would start reading about ON-page and OFF-page SEO, preferably start with on-page and make those adjustments needed for helping Google to index

Of these three helpful tips, use of the search function is the most crucial. A lot of IM questions have been asked and answered repeatedly over the years, so if you are thirsty for more info after you've read an appropriate sticky post, doing a search will provide you with loads more guidance.

In fact, if you yourself have promising tips to reveal, it's good to get in the habit of memorializing your advice in a BHW thread. As with other forums, your insight will then be made part of your own archive of posted ideas that you can easily retrieve---instead of you forgetting your eureka thought, only to recall it months (or years) later saying "wow, I should have written that down before, my marketing would now be so much more effective if I had!"
