Why BlackhatWorld won't update the theme

It has been using the same theme for years and it looks like 1999 html. I wonder why this very big global forum doesn't have a more modern look.

Once you discover all forums as well as rules for each forums, it won't look complicated. Try to have a deep look at entire forum.

As far as I know it was updated just last year and I am sure it continues to be updated till date.

Updating and changing the theme would be just as frustrating as getting a stupid iPhone update where they change the location of a particular app you were used to seeing in a particular place. Sometimes familiarity offers productivity and comfort. It's ok to leave well enough alone.

They updated it not long ago. And as someone who was actually building websites back in 1999, it looks nothing like the style from back then.

Finally my eyes stopped hurting. As for the better UX, this should be at the top right or under profile settings, not buried away
