This question has been raised many times by our media team.

We do leads for Crypto/Forex and the clients request leads only in their working hours. We do this usually by choosing a 30 days lifetime budget campaign, and choose Monday to Friday only to spend the money.
The problem is that CPL is really high when we do it. We also tried choosing target cost and bid cap. Didn't really help.
When we run Daily Budget (24/7 with better optimization) the cost per leads goes down x3.

What's your suggestions here ?

Daily Budget is always better to control stats. Turn-on and off ad sets are better than the whole campaigns

each day we launch new campaign, but the problem with that, is the fact we lose the learning phase . we don't reach to 50 conversions per 7 days . you suggest going with daily budget and just turn off and on the ad sets ? that won't ruin the performance ? thank you for your help

Run a 24/7 campaign for lower CPL and optimize with a separate working-hours push.Use retargeting ads to convert leads generated outside business hours.Test Cost Per Result Goal or Maximize Conversions instead of Bid Cap.Segment by time zones and adjust bids for peak-performing hours.Add pre-qualification steps to improve lead quality and reduce costs.

You can narrow your target audience, which can help you reach a more relevant audience, potentially reducing your CPL and instead of running ads only during business hours, consider running ads outside of those hours but with a lower budget. This allows you to collect data and optimize for the most effective time.

Your CPL is high because limited scheduling reduces Facebook’s optimization time, increasing bid competition during peak hours. Instead, run a 24 7 daily budget campaign, but use ad scheduling to show ads only during working hours. Test lowest cost bidding instead of bid caps, and expand the audience slightly to improve delivery. Consider running a warm
up campaign 24 7 to gather data and optimize for conversions.

did you have any feel that target cost gives fake leads ? I always do conversion campaigns but my feeling is that Meta is sending fake traffic with this feature . on Keitaro I can see 50% are bots who are filtered to white page .

do you mean setting automated rules to increase and decrease caps between MON-FRI in active hours ?
I did it like: 9:00am-17:00pm to increase bid by 100% and another rule that decreases the bid in 100%. I hope it's set right

Instead of using a 30day lifetime budget, consider a hybrid model where you set a daily budget that reflects peak working hours

Check best hours for conversions, then focus budget there.

Only turn off ad sets that don't have good performance and when it comes to a new day, turn on it again to give a new chance, but we have to monitor in the first 3 hours to check the performance and decide to turn off again or keep it
If you need good conversions, the only way is to test as many creatives and content as you can to find the best one

Yes, it's the best option available to you.

Just turn off the campaigns and then turn them back on and that's it.
