Ulbricht gets a Pardon

Arrested in 2013 when BTC was in the hundreds. Prison was a good thing for him, made him have diamond hands.
The first cold wallet was created in 2014.

So unless he specifically gave a seed wallet to someone, it is unlikely he has anything because the feds took all his devices away.

I don't think he had the brains to hide a seed wallet either. He used his real email when dealing with the Silk Road marketplace... they extracted everything from him already.

That's not very fair to say, insulting his intelligence. He created the first ever modern black market, he was an innovator, a pioneer, learning things as he went, making mistakes, sure. But everyone would. Also he was a genuinelly good guy in my opinion. If you read up on how they caught him, it's actually one of the most shady tactics I've ever heard of. They got a female and male FBI agent to mock fight and Ross came to the womans aid like a decent/brave person would, they snatched his device while he was doing so. They took advantage of his good will.

lol

I bet you would sit in his lap if you had the chance.

I wonder how much money they talked behind the doors... I mean behind the bars.

Why are you so upset? I'm guessing you would've just stood by meekly while someone was getting attacked infront of you.

His sentence was crazy. He had the unfortunate luck of being the first one to ever been committed for such a crime so they wanted to present him as an example. Nevertheless this whole court case was not handled correctly. Not to mention the corrupt agents that were pocketing money from this case themselves (1 DEA agent for extortion, money laundering and fraud. 1 Secret Service Agent for money laundering. 2 Key advisors in the case.)

Yeah no such thing as "justice"

just to set a precedent and he got caught up in it. :)))

I've seen plenty of those in my life,))) people get sent to jail for crimes that are not even crimes, but since crowd demands it they end up there.

Also, he did wrong no doubt. But life sentence is wild)))
