Seeking Advice on Starting a YouTube Channel

Hi,

I have been reading BHW for a while and wanted to take the first step in learning about YouTube. I have a few questions regarding faceless channels, and since this community is very helpful, I thought I’d post here to seek some advice.

1. Would you recommend starting a channel from scratch and building up an audience organically?
2. Is it better to buy a monetized channel, change the niche, or create a new channel and then start uploading?
3. Alternatively, should I create a channel, upload some content, and then purchase watch hours and subscribers to boost growth organically?

I’d appreciate your thoughts and any advice you could offer.

Can only answer based on what a youtube channel seller told me (so do with it as you like) ;

1. its faster to buy pre monetized channel but comes with a risk , allbeit small, of youtube pulling the channel.
2. changing the niche is not a big deal
3. -interested to know the answer also... dont know if this is more or less risky than buying monetizec channel

Buying a monetized channel can be a good option if you are confident in what you're doing. It can save you about a month of effort. However, if you're just experimenting or trying to gauge interest in your content, I recommend against purchasing a monetized channel.

Hello, here is my opinion from some recent testing and research...

1. Depends on content, but either new or aged account is best

2. Dont buy monetized, it is ruined channel already or a scam or will disappoint in some way like get banned. Try very aged acct if you want to rush.

3. Small and believable amounts can work if quality is good, but it carries risks as well if you are not experienced in this already.

I would ask yourself what your already good at. Or even look at competitors channels and analyze the content. Could be a good place to start

Start a YouTube channel fact checking Joe Rogan.

The guy is a MF'ing sucker for false information, propaganda, lies and click bait.

1. All day and everyday. According to youtube t&c (you do want paid don't you?) its the only real way. Thats why they allow 50 accounts per email address.
2. No. Easy risk of account shadow banning, and non payment.

I left a small animation channel I started 10+ years ago, that managed to get some traction over the years of being left. Now I'm resurrecting it, and making animations regularly for it, and doing well. I uploaded a viral meme 10-second animation before Xmas, and it's took me over the 500-watch hours goal. Its had about 10+ hours total watch time, lol which I think is hilarious from a 10 second video. Tha channel had gone quiet as it still doesn't have more than a few hundred subs, but this clip, and another one (that didn't do as well) after it have brought the visitors back to the channel and boosted my watch hours, just have to repeat the idea of short and fast animations, of good quality, and should be monitised in the next couple of years. Almost every successful youtube has been in the game for years before they broke through, so use that as a bench mark, if you can last you win. After all success is 90% just turning up.
