I have posted like 25 reels, follow and unfollowed some accounts. But I am stuck with very few followers. I feel like getting to a 1000 followers is imposible. I am in the pet niche.
I tried liking and commenting too, but got a block on Instagram. How can I grow my followers?

In the pet niche, Reels are ideal for growing and building reach. Also include a mix of popular and niche specific hashtags related to pets

Mostly it depends on the content quality, not much can be suggested without knowing the username/checking out the account, to see what you might be doing wrong/ what you can improve upon.

Yea growing in the pet niche can take time, but you gotta switch up your strategy if you're stuck. Stop the follow-unfollow grind, it’s dead in my opinion, and IG’s cracking down hard. Focus on posting viral-worthy, engaging reels with trending audio (check what’s hot under the audio icon in IG).
Stick to short, funny, or emotional pet content that hits broad appeal. Use niche hashtags (like #dogsoftiktok #catlover #petlife) but mix in smaller ones for better reach.
Engage smart, comment thoughtful stuff on big pet pages to get noticed without spamming. Collaborate with micro-influencers in the same niche to cross-promote. Consistency and quality matter, so post daily if possible. Growth tools like https://kicksta.com/ or legit engagement pods might give you a push too. Patience, and I'm sure you will hit 1k soon. )

The quality of the reels matter. Try advertising on FB/insta to increase the followers and once you cross like 500, you can stop advertising and then you can see an uptick in followers organically.

If you're being blocked from liking and commenting then instagram doesn't trust your account and it's not a good one to grow. You should warm it up more until you can follow, like, and comment with no issue and you should also be seeing ads.

However to grow an account I'd start a new one, or more than one, and use this current one as a throw-away to experiment on or to funnel people to a newer account. Sometimes instagram dislikes an account and getting it views becomes a constant war that you don't have time to fight, so start another.

I follow like 500+ accoutn and only have like 167 followers lol.
I usually get blocked after following a bunch of people daily, the I stop and start following the next day.
Yesterday I posted 15 reels and got like max 300 views on the best reel.
Is it wrong that I post the reels from my web browser?
I don't have any other instagram account.
And when I post on my phone I use wifi. Does it matter? Should I stick to 4G data...

Reels will getting followers when you have good educational tips (value) yep quality matters, that means repurpos esome other people or some celebrities reels than add your quota will not get you followers, not in IG, not in FBG, Tiktok or elsewhere. You must be with your face on cam, then it will work. Faceless can work but the must be in good quality content same and unique ! Not using images or videos 100.000 people have shared= unique. Best is with your face on cam.
