**Help** Is Freelancing the Answer? Need Guidance for Online Work!

Hello, my name is Hamza, and I'm from Morocco. I’m currently working, but my income isn’t enough. I’m looking for a solution to work online. I tried learning After Effects and other applications, but with AI becoming more prominent, it feels like those skills are becoming outdated.

Now, I’m considering starting a blog or finding something that can help me as a freelancer. I’m open to any ideas because I’m feeling really confused, and my mind is overwhelmed. I believe an online job could help me move forward. If you have any suggestions or guidance on how to start, please share them with me. Thank you!

You dont just wake up one day and learn a few skills for a couple of months, and then start earning good fast money and taking holidays and buying ferraris. You should become an expert in after effects if you already use it. But why are you not making content in it for youtube?

Do you even have a portfolio of projects that are already making money that you can show to people. Yeah lets just work for 2 weeks and make something that will compete against the others that have been in this market for years lol dream on.

Keep building your skills in general categories. If you know the effects. produce regular tutorials about the software on youtube. I have a couple of channels. One for software tutorials, and another for animations that I build with software that I make tutorials on.

Your up against me, I have 10's of thousands of views, and one channel is approaching 1 million views. How are you gonna win when you can't even understand how after effects fit into the ecosystem and why it won't be going extinct any time soon?

I'm just one crazy cut through Mutha that has been in the game for years, making money, going bankrupt, and repeating that process every other day, lol there is an army of people doing and trying.

Understand where you are and learn this industry inside out. That means understanding what to do to be realistic about where you are with your projects, and how to turn them into products and services.

I already knew that, but first, I respect you because you're a warrior too, haha! I started learning After Effects a year ago, and I'm thinking about launching a YouTube channel this week. But honestly, I'm a bit afraid — you know what I mean — because I'm really confused, haha! I’m not aiming for millions of dollars or luxury cars. I just want to start by earning $200 a month and grow from there over time, haha!

I suggest you learn how to build your own money making site or channel, and do any freelancing as a secondary project. Use the gigs as a means of gaining more feedback about your skills, and to improve them as you go. Think about how to offer others something worthwhile to THEM, as well as how it may pay you. Consider collaborating in joint ventures, if the freelancing competition is too high, and use that experience to develop your rep more.
