My first post on BHW :o) I'm so impressed by Scrapebox : is it true ?

I am new here also and new to SB. A friend said get SB and use it. I have it and find it is getting me links according to Yahoo'ss link checker. I am running a training and trial on a lens for a clickbank product and I have no refference to compare to I find my lens is in the top 15K of all lens's and in the top top 1500 in my category. My ratings have been as high as top 13K in all , this was a couple days ago.

learning any new software takes me time and I felt I'd use the learning on something that won't hurt if I mess up.

So far I have done one ping run along with all the comment posting/ backlink generating.

I just bought it yesterday, and now still learning. I immediately fell in love at first sight, it seems so impressed! :)

I'd love to have xrumer if only I know how to use it effectively or it will be a waste of money.

i totally agree with trophaeum :D can do much more and 100 times more powerfull.

I don't know Xrumer, I just know it is a killer software.

But for an almost newbie who just want to get backlinks easily, does it worth it ?

And to go back to my last question, can we hurt ourself (our website, our lens, our yt vids etc) by using Scrapebox the wrong way ?

thanks

yup, like i said, u learn fast with it :)

Scrapebox is excelent, and relatively cheap compared to xrumer, but I think it's a matter of preference and scale of the work...

Xrumer is great for massive runs on well established domains. Scrapebox might be a little more newbie friendly and it can be used (moderately) on new domains.

Keep in mind that blasting a 1000 backlinks run in a day will get you deindexed from G. in no time at all (unless you are massive old site)

And as far as relevancy of backlinks goes, don't bang your head too much about it. Relevant BLs are definitely great help, but non-relevant BLs make it look natural in the eyes of G.

Proper backlinking is an art in a way. There is a Backlink Blueprint in our download section, get it and read it. It will give you a good understanding of how to plan your campaign and insight to best strategy for your site.

Yes I watched Xrumer closely, it looks very impressive.
The thing is I?m willing to promote decades of Italian affiliate products ! And with low SEOC for a start.
So it becomes very expensive with their system? I don?t even know if we can promote an affiliate URL with Xrumer.
It doesn?t seem to be possible (look at the main page).
Anyway, I keep this great idea and will obviously give it a try for a website of mine when I do my first incomes with IM ;)

Glad to hear that ! And yes it does make sense, cause officially comments come from other people ;)
and people who comments our website don?t take care about relevancy lol. I?ve never thought about that this way !

Yeah I saw it and I?m studying it, thanks a lot metabaron ;)

The best way to have our young domain deindexed is to blast a lot of backlinks very fast ?! I thought it was the opposite...

Anyway I have no idea about in/deindexing, I'm not even indexed yet ;)

Very hard ?! What do you mean by that :

Is this the spinnering feature which is hard to handle, or something else ?
Is there a way for the blogs mod to detect it is a comment from SB (like the IP), even if the comment looks 100% natural ?

It's just that it is very hard to write a comment that is general enough to fit on most sites but doesn't looks spammy. Comments like "great blog, i will bookmark it" don't work too well anymore.

I surround the anchor link with 3 sentences of text. That is a real help on getting past automatic filters but not so good with mods.

Better to load up some nice custom footprints for unmodded blogs...

I wouldn't say thats true. I've blasted to thousands of blogs several times on domains I registered the same day and never got deindexed or anything. Google ain't going to find them all the same day, it can take weeks. I wouldn't suggest doing it though and it's always better to blast things like articles rather then your main site.

My experience is that as Dayum says, Google discovers these links over a number of weeks. I think so long as you vary your comments (spin lots of nice quality comments) and use a diverse set of backlink URL's (at least 5) you shouldn't see any issues even with young sites.

Yep ! You're completely true (with Dayum), it is that "simple". ;)
