Earlier today the tiktok app froze and had an error message saying there was no internet connection even though there was. It is now working again but views are only about 50-60 on each video and likes are extremely low. I don’t get a massive amount of likes but they usually come in steadily all day. Does this sound like a shadowban or something else?

anything below 500 views can be shadowban, check ur dashboard for what your audience is, for me it says when it's bots or real people in audience

The internet connection error is quite common, it happened with me sometimes as well, not related, I guess

I got the same shadowban shitty strategy

I was unable to follow or like anything (and even in the other way, no one can follow, like or comment my content)

They don't show my content on fyp, and sometimes also neither in the friends tab (I have some "son" accounts that I use to check my uploaded content and make some early boost, and they say there is no new content published when I have just uploaded some videos)

If this phenomenon occurs, you can try changing to another account, do not continue using that account anymore. I don't think it's a shadowban, but Tiktok's algorithm is quite complex, I've had it once and changing to another account won't happen again. However, the main problem still lies in the content, it needs to be attractive enough for Tiktok to continue distributing.

Yeah I’d have to say your content isn’t proper, try to switch it up and see what sticks. Try to study the people who have a grip on the algorithm.
