Hi everyone, I've been following this forum for a long time, and the high-quality content here has really caught my attention. As someone who has never participated in or posted on any forums before, this is my first time sharing something in a forum. I noticed a significant lack of information about Etsy in particular within this group, and I wanted to fill this gap by posting an [AMA] to answer everyone's questions and provide help.

Let me introduce myself: I've been selling on Etsy since 2017 and have opened, closed, and managed numerous stores over the years. During the pandemic in 2020, Etsy experienced incredible growth, and I started earning millions of dollars in a year during and after pandemic. My monthly income has exceeded more than $150,000 in a month. In this journey, I've gained extensive experience in selling both digital and physical products (currently, most of my products are physical). I've learned and experienced too much details about ETSY, from its algorithm to successful products.

I'd be happy to answer questions from those considering starting on Etsy, those who are already selling, and even those operating at a professional level. I'd also enjoy reading and learning from the information shared here by users of BHW. Based on my experience and knowledge, I will do my best to help and answer. However, the time I can dedicate to forums is limited to 1-2 hours a day. During this time, I'll try to respond to as many of your questions as possible.

I want to emphasize that I have no intention of promoting or selling courses or anything here. My sole aim is to share what I've learned and support those who are currently selling or planning to start selling.

Lastly, I want to share an example to show the potential of Etsy: A new store I opened last week generated $14,000 in revenue in just one week. I'm not sharing this to brag or prove anything but simply to provide confidence in the legitimacy of what I'm saying.

Feel free to ask me anything about Etsy; I'm here to help without hesitation.

How are you generating sales? You promote your products inside etsy ads?
I'm using Etsy ads, fake but organic add to carts (no bots) and fake purchases with reviews (all from Real customers buying organic) also using pinterest to increase traffic.

Do you dropship or inventory ?
I dıd both but im more fan of dropship, but im not doing it with aliexpress or other cheap and useless dropshiping ways, i have people that i work with for my products in poland, thailand and turkey, all of my products are made to order sometimes im keeping inventory for Q4 (last quarter of the year most selling season for my products)

Most healthy way to do this is opening LLC in USA, after that you can recieve the payments to your bank account in USA, you will manage the account with anti detect browser and proxy (you'll be safe)

As I understand, fake purchases and reviews will help You to make more sales
But does it also affect Your position in search results?
What about add to cart, it also make your position in search results higher?

and how You get them? are there services to buy legit but fake purchases and add to charts?

Where are you located ?
Can someone from EU sell to the US market (via a US LLC) ?

How do you find profitable niches/products to sell on Etsy? How are you getting around Etsy cracking down on dropshipping?

Congrats, have you tried using Instagram as traffic source?

Can people from Vietnam and EU can sell products in US market through etsy
Yes EU and Vietnamn both eligible for Etsy payments.

As I understand, fake purchases and reviews will help You to make more sales

Fake reviews and add to carts both helpong for better search results, im doing add to cart for 4days for one product every day (5 add to carts) after i reach 20+ add to carts, Etsy showing a red text saying "20+ people have this in their cart", creating urgency and extra trust for my product and my customers placing their orders faster, also Etsy put my listing to first page (first page is not only happening because of add to cart but its helping a lot.)

I'm doing add to cart and fake reviews with a friend that i work with for long time. (They are not a company)

Where are you located ?
Can someone from EU sell to the US market (via a US LLC) ?
I'm in europa, you dont need LLC to sell on Etsy, and Etsy payment is active in europa. you can recive your money to your bank account directly.

How do you find profitable niches/products to sell on Etsy? How are you getting around Etsy cracking down on dropshipping?
I dont have competitor right now because the products that i sell is all designed by me and with persons that i paid for it, my method works like dropshiping but its not like the normal dropshiping Everyone does,

I'm adding the infos of the companies that i work with to my Etsy account so there is no problem with it Etsy allows it, they just want you to be Clear about your operation and thats it.

Congrats, have you tried using Instagram as traffic source?
Thank you, i did tried meta ads with Etsy but it wasnt good, no profit and no loss, but making organic traffic from Instagram to Etsy is good option i know people that doing it, its profitable and good for people who dont want to spend money for their ads.

Would you please advice the type/niches that are on high search right now?
How to grow fast without spending on ads
Any specific advice on etsy SEO?
Thank you

Can you share the Proxy you are using? I also have an LLC in the US but I am worried about my account being locked because the proxy I’m using doesn’t seem ideal to me either.

I wrote that this issue is sensitive, but if you feel uncomfortable, that's okay, don't worry.
Thank you for being here to let me hear your story.

Proxy required for etsy?

You are doing great...one question: are you from an allowed country on Etsy? I saw that you have already managed several stores in the past, I'd like to know more about it. Like, are they all in the same name or you have stealth accounts?
