Hey all,
One of my Google Ads Accounts for one of my affiliate offers is suspended for Unacceptable Business Practices policy. I am not sure what to do, I have sent a few appeals over already, In the past i have been suspended once every 3-8 months, automatically by the system I think, every time I appealed it has worked, and been accepted, however this time I have tried appeal and its not being accepted. The ad account was paused for some months as I was doing different strategies my affiliate business, usually the suspensions in the past was it was due to this policy: "Unacceptable Business Practices" or sometimes different reasons. I have my own domain and own page which then goes to the checkout with my affiliate link.
I have made sure to read all the Terms and there isn't seem to be any terms that I have broken, usually this policy talks about scamming and phishing but I am not doing any of these things, (I did have multiple domains on the ad account in different ads) that all pointed to my affiliate checkout link
I appealed and they say in an automated email "We use both automated and human evaluation to help ensure Google Ads follow these policies. This violation was identified using manual means. When we find content that violates the policies, we should block it from appearing. In cases of repeated or egregious violations, we should suspend you from advertising with us. If you believe there's been an error, and that you haven’t violated our policies, submit an appeal with an explanation. We aim to review your appeal within 5 business days. If you’re an advertiser located in the European Union, learn more about other redress options available."
"This suspension should be permanent unless you successfully appeal the decision. We only reactivate accounts where there's a good reason. Take the time to be detailed, honest, and accurate in your appeal and explanation. https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9841640 about why we suspend accounts and the reasons we take these actions."
In the appeal response email : "We've confirmed that your account was and still is in violation of our Google Ads policies.
As such, we will not be reactivating your account. Please don't create new Google Ads accounts, as these will be suspended too. When we suspend a Google Ads account, the suspension applies to the account owner and any current or future linked Google Ads accounts. If you believe there's been an error, and that you haven’t violated our policies, please submit a new appeal with new information as an explanation."
In my appeal I explain that this must be an error and that I have read and agreed to all terms and made sure not to break any, so it must be an error, and that I am just an affiliate.
Is there anything I can do? What are the some tips for the appeals and what to explain in them? I answered all the questions correctly within the form. Should I be emailing the last known Google Ads specialist / manager to that ad account that was assigned to it? I have a lot of ad spend on that account (nothing in the recent months) but over time I spent a lot of money on it.
