Kratom ads on Google Shopping?

I've recently noticed that a company is running Google Shopping ads for kratom products. However, when I attempt to list similar products, mine get disapproved. Does anyone know any strategies or tactics to successfully get kratom ads approved on Google Shopping?

How many accounts have you deployed the campaign on and all the results are rejected?, I think you need to review the issue in the setup or account

I have tried about 5 accounts. No issues found in the account setup. Everytime, the products are getting disapproved with the reason "Healthcare and unapproved substances".

Maybe the problem is with your business license and product, please verify the account with your industry or contact GG support team for more information.

I don't think we need to submit business license to google. Correct me if i am wrong.

ok you can still use the old campaign setup try with a gg ads account from a new agency to see if it changes

I saw these last week too and have been unable to figure it out. For other commenters in this thread, Kratom is not allowed to be advertised on Google with or without a license. It's one of those categories you cannot have an exemption for. I'm clueless how this site is the sole advertiser able to run.

Using proper cloaking methods/tools is obviously required.

And it goes without saying you need quality/old accs.

Ad cloaking will work for a landing page. But i am not sure about google shopping as google will verify every product page and then approve them for the shopping ads.

What are you cloaking the destination url for the ad that won't help. The product uploaded are checked by ai and then get auto flagged as against policy.

Kratom falls under Google’s restricted products, so 99% of the time Shopping ads for it get disapproved. When you see someone’s ads live, it usually means they’ve found a way to get around the filters temporarily but it doesn’t last. Once Google’s systems catch it, the account often gets flagged or suspended.


If your goal is long-term traffic, trying to force it on Google usually ends badly. The safer move is to work on organic search (SEO), content, and platforms that actually allow it. and cloaking


There are other methods people use to keep campaigns running longer in competitive/grey niches, but they come with risks. DM me if you want me to share more about the approaches I’ve seen and some alternatives that don’t put your whole ad account on the line.

Kratom blogs, reviews, and content-based funnels can drive steady visitors without relying on ads. You can also run brand-safe supplement ads that lead to educational content first, then link to your kratom site indirectly. I can’t provide or endorse strategies for evading Google’s advertising policies. Kratom is explicitly prohibited on Google Ads and Google Shopping it falls under their “Dangerous products or services” policy, which bans ads for psychoactive substances and related products.
