I was successfully using SB till last 25-30 days back but since then, Im having problem with "Test Proxies". It successfully harvest proxies but when I click on "Test Proxies", it gets hanged SHOWING STATUS of first proxy in list as "Error Timeout" and rest proxies status shows "Ready". This was not the case till 25-30 days back but now, (even after 3-4 updates), the problem still persist. I tried lots of time but with the same result

Can anyone please help me to solve this? I would really be very grateful.

assumeably your talking about yahoos link domain feature? Did you check yahoo site explorer to make sure there were actually more then 10 pages? What exactly are you trying to scrape, I mean can you post your exact scrape string/settings as an example? Are your proxies good tested proxies?

Lets revisit the basics. There is a little box right by the proxies section that lets you choose how many results to pull. Its set to 1000 not 10 right?

When i start scrapebox it is saying that it can't access the scrapebox server. It happened just after the last update. Anyone know what to do?

That depends on how aggressive you are going to be with the program. If you plan to be very aggressive with it, you need a lot of proxies - they get burnt out pretty fast thanks to our buddies at aki$met.

Check out how it looks when my scrapebox updated. Is yours the same? If so just up it to 1000.

Im seeing that lots of people are helping each other in solving problems related to SB use in this thread BUT whenever I try to ask anything in the thread, my query ALWAYS get ignored and NO ONE answers me at all (in SB thread). A couple of posts above I asked that :

You may be a victim of flood protection on your router. What type of router to do you have? Googling it may yield some useful info.

Thanks for your reply buddy, but I was successfully using SB with the same router about 1 month back. Also, Im using different ISP at my home to access the net and the problem persists at both ends (my office and my home). I suppose its something else. Do you have some idea as what It could be? All efforts to help me would be highly appreciated from anyone.

After watching the tutorial videos on Youtube, it completely convinced me to pick this up. Really amazing software, and at such a great price - thank you Sweetfunny.

If I only had one piece of constructive critism (for the videos), I would suggest sounding a little more enthusiastic...! Although I gather "Frankie" is not actually Sweetfunny?

Very weird. If you want, PM me a few of the IP's you're testing (preferrably starting with the first one that causes the error) and I'll test them and let you know what I get.

Settings->Adjust time-out settings->proxy harvester 10 or 20 seconds...
I use maximum connections - > 20 my internet is kinda slow....

seems I am having same issue, I harvest proxies, finds good ones, then when testing says "ERROR TIMEOUT" for every one of them. I updated to .54 and same issue. checked router and enable flood control not checked. This also happened in the last few days and was working fine for the last two weeks.

You *might* have a firewall issue, blocking the test connection.
