I just noticed that Facebook has now removed the 'Members' tab from the Groups as well.

We can no longer collect IDs and use softwares like Facebook Blaster :(

Facebook is really doing everything that they can to stop people from adding strangers.

Does anyone know if there any other way now to get the IDs ?

I know. Just when I thought I would create new accounts with targeted users .. they go ahead and remove the list of members :(

This sucks man.

Ouch didn't notice that haven't used fb today

but as well all know there's a way around everything :)

So, being that I am brand new to FaceWizard, does this mean that we will no longer be able to go to groups or fan pages and scrape IDs at all anymore or is there a way to alter/write a scraping code that doesnt need to "see" the IDs but can simply obtain them from the Group or Fan Page directly or by some other means of a work around?

There is definitely still a way to scrape page/group IDs. I am not sure if I am allowed to post it but I can assure you it has been covered time and time again in this section of the forum.

Please do not PM me asking how to do this. Just search the forum, you'll find it.

Also, there are many other ways of gathering targeted friend IDs rather than scraping IDs from groups/pages. Once again, read this section of the forum (in particular) and you will find out what I am talking about.

can you elaborate on this members tab.
I looked at a group around 2000 ppl and it doesnt have a members tab.

it has a box that says members and a link to SEE ALL

what is this members tab?

on further inspection i found a members tab in the admin panel of a group.

Is this the members tab you are talking about.. The one in the edit group section of a group you admin??

I was able to access it no problem. this group had about 4000.. maybe they put this limitation on large groups (5000+) or maybe it is being phased in and my account hasn't gotten the changes yet.

any thoughts?

Hi,

For group : facebookdotcom/social_graph.php?node_id=yourgroupeid&start=0

For fan page : facebookdotcom/social_graph.php?node_id=yourfanpageid&class=FanManager&start=0

It works for me with this 2 urls :bowl:

Earlier you could view ALL members of a group even if you aren't the admin of the group.

Now, you cannot view all the members of a group if you aren't the admin.

Using facebook softwares.. we could just go to the page containing the members of the group and get their IDs to add em a friends. Now, We can't do this anymore.

FaceWizard has just been updated and the scraper works fine again.

i know the url trick and how the software gets around it... thats not the point

im trying to figure out what the original post is about.

i never saw the change in groups over the past 24 hours. and i have never seen a MEMBERS tab except in the edit group admin section.

SPud. i saw how you noticed reacted and fixed face wizard within a matter of hours and am very impressed. I only wish i had purchased face wizard instead of FFAP..

I have seen that this only pertains to some groups, at least for the moment. Some groups still show the members with the "See All" link, and some do not. I am not sure what determines whether the members of a group are visible or not.

Ive been racking by brain as too why so many people are getting this. I had my team open up some of our old accounts and went to each station and all our accounts still have the "see all" on various pages/groups. Then we opened up new accounts and the "see all" was not avail on alot. I hadnt noticed that b4 as we dont start our accounts using that, more organic setup at first then move to "see all" adds. So maybe it has something to do with the way the account was setup, how old, how long a member of the group? Or just random like posted.

Yes, you are right. I can still see the 'See All' link at a few groups but a lot of groups don't show it anymore.

I have an account that is almost 4 years old now .. all organic. I can't see the See All link thru that one either.

I am not sure what it must depend on. Any idea guys?

It probably has a lot to do with the group rather than the account. This is just my guess though.

Yes, I also noticed that it depends on the group, not the account.
