I can’t handle it anymore.
Stripe is shutting down our accounts day by day, without explanation, despite us following all the rules.

Some might ask, “What’s the big deal about Stripe?”
Is it the analytics? The security features?

No.
None of that really matters.

Security features like 3D Secure exist only because a few bad actors ruined it for the rest of us, forcing Stripe to treat everyone like a potential threat.
And analytics? Those can be generated on the fly with the merchant’s API, basic math, and a graphing library. We don’t need a fancy web interface for that.

What truly matters is a high-converting checkout.
Everyone is familiar with PayPal and Stripe. And sure, Chargebee and Authorize.net exist… but they aren’t nearly as good.

That’s why we need Stripe, not as a payment facilitator, but as a mere payment gateway. This way, we can plug in our own merchant accounts and not deal with money going on hold.

I’ve made a Stripe-like checkout into a reality, and soon, I’ll begin gathering results.
  • Will conversions increase?
  • Will we receive more volume?
  • Will the chargeback rate increase?
Only time will tell...
Godspeed, everyone.

Interesting

The big deal with Stripe is their ToS, written by scammers. Their ToS literally allows them to hold your money forever, not like PayPal that will give it back after 180 days. On Stripe, their holds are perpetual, just a virtual number appearing on your screen while they already stole your money. They are allowed to supposedly refund all your customers, but they don't refund all of them, some of the money remains on their posession.

If you can create your own payment processor with their design but with honest Terms of Services, you can definitely succeed...I myself would be interested in using such payment solution. But if you are just creating a new design...well, good luck anyway, I hope you are not flagged by their scammy bot, not in vain their reviews on internet are as bad as PayPal, just legalized scam

I liked the idea, but I don't know how I can help you, I'll be watching your journey.
good luck!!!

Well, looks like a big project.
Can't wait to get updates once you have some tidings for us :)

How has the project been so far about 1 month in? I'm sure there are a lot of legal challenges with banking

Any update? It's quite a challenging journey, if you success it can be pretty profitable

Any update ? What is the result of your trial ?

I've succeeded in beating every other processor's rates, though we still lack in the payment gateway space. The goal is to be able to onboard any client on checkout.com, not just NMI/Auth.net.

What about this idea , in checkout there is pay by BTC , just icon of payment i mean normal icons to put your visa number , expire date etc , and once done this amount of payment go directly to buy BTC and scooted to your BTC wallet ,,, that is idea in my mind time ago but the issue is platforms that offer sell BTC , make customer enter headache process , i not excellent in explain , let me if you got my point

Do you know other solutions of this kind? From what you describe is fiat-on-ramp (fiat to crypto). I have tested over 30 solutions and they all require KYC when the customer tries to pay.

what's the problem with Stripe? I see so many people having issues with them, they were good before but not anymore what's changed?
