Growing a Niche Website from Scratch to $100/Month

Hello everyone!

I’ve decided to start my journey of building a niche website and growing it to $100/month. I’ll be documenting my progress here, so feel free to follow along if you’re interested!

Expenses Overview:​

• Domain (Namecheap): $6.67/year
• Hosting: $43.09/year
• Total Expenses: $49.76

Why This Journey?:

I’ve always been curious about building an online income stream but never had experience in blogging or SEO. No better time than now to get started, right? Plus, I want to keep things simple and low-budget to see what’s realistically possible.

How I’m Building the Site:

• Content Strategy: I’ll be using AI-generated content for all posts to save time and effort. My goal is to pump out as much relevant content as possible and tweak things along the way.
• SEO Skills: I’m learning as I go, so this journey will involve lots of trial and error. Any SEO tips from the veterans out here would be much appreciated!
• Traffic Plan: I might explore Pinterest down the road to drive some organic traffic. I’ve read good things about it, especially for niche sites targeting certain audiences.

Current Status:

Started this journey last week, so it's too early to report anything significant. I’ll be updating here regularly with insights, setbacks, and (hopefully) growth updates.

I know it won’t be easy, but I’m here for the learning experience. It’ll be interesting to see if I can reach my $100/month goal with minimal upfront investment and without previous experience.

I guess 100/mo is a good starting goal when you're new to SEO. Good chance of reaching it in your first year.

To increase your odds of success try to improve the article when you hit a good keyword that brings traffic.

I’ll start by growing it organically while promoting affiliate products. Once it gains traction, I’ll submit it to an ad network.

I guess 100/mo is a good starting goal when you're new to SEO. Good chance of reaching it in your first year.
