Service/Product Description:
- We're offering a DFY HARO service for real websites. We do not have control over the websites, backlink type (if any) and the anchor text. In some cases you may not get do follow links, however best efforts will be done to select websites which offer do follow links only.
Mandatory Prerequisites:
- Requirements for your site.
- About Us Page – Make sure you have a professional About Us page that clearly explains who you are and what your business does.
- Contact Information – You’ll need accurate contact info, such as a business license (if applicable), physical address, and a functional contact form.
- Team or Author Page – Show who’s behind your business. It’s essential for credibility. These authors or team members will be used as profiles for the link building. If you do not have these, your site will be automatically rejected. These team members' profiles will be used as the basis for the HARO service
- Press Page – Display the links or mentions you’ve earned from other sites or guest posts. This helps journalists see that you’re a real business.
- Unique Images – Stock photos are fine, but having original, high-quality images of your team or business will give you an edge. If yo have a gardening site, then I need 3 images of your persona doing something involving gardening. If you have a medical site, 3 images involving a team member with a medical device/wearing scrubs etc would be ideal to show expertise
- Relevant Content – Have at least some blog posts or articles that align with your niche, so we can point journalists to your expertise.
- Social Media Presence – While not required, having social media accounts related to your business can improve your chances of being featured.
- Use this checklist to see if your site is eligible:
- Real Business or Project – Your site must have a genuine purpose and not be a placeholder or low-quality content farm.
- Niche Alignment – The service is suitable for a wide variety of niches, but there are limitations. Sites promoting gambling, pseudoscience, or anything illegal will be rejected.
- Ready to Invest Time – HARO link-building takes time. Be prepared to give it 3+ months for results.
- Existing Content – Does your site have articles or blog posts that can align with HARO queries? If not, you may need to create some content.
- Commitment to Improvement – We may suggest minor site improvements, such as adding pages or updating contact information. You’ll need to be open to making these changes.
- Ads - Does your site have a large number of ads? If so, then it might be rejected (will check on a case by case basis). Think of a ournalist coming to your site for the first time to check up on your persona. If there's a ton of ads, it looks spammy.
