Bit on a private note as I just use it for myself.

My old account ran for years, then it started to frequently get more and more flagged comments, but here's the kicker, friendly comments like "Wow, nice video" or just personal comments on my friends pictures and reels. Flagged as "spam". I never used the account of anything besides my personal stuff, it's not linked to anything.

I kept appealing to their decisions, then I couldn't appeal any more and I was suspended for a few days before being let back on, until they totally disabled my account.

Then, months later I created a new account and it took a month, then I was disabled again.

So now a year later I created yet another one with a brand new email address, and after innocently commenting on one of my friends insta, I got disabled right away??? The account was maybe 3 hours old! Wtf.

I mean seriously why? How do I prevent that from happening again?

And yeah, I'd go to instagram, if htey had a support team (which they don't) and the forums is full of "yeah same issue here" but no answers.

Honestly looks like someone at instagram sits there, just waits to disable my account, but obviously it's an automated decision.

Okay, they are the same devices, but it's been MONTHS between.
They still disabled your account since it was automated processing they used. Its better to change your devices and IP's
There is no difference if its been months between you created the accounts they still disabled your account if they detect the same device/IP on creating thoose accounts.

Its like you said. Automation.

(don't take my word for it, I'm no IG expert)

However, I assume it is the same reason I get phone calls on my phone and the caller reads as "Scam likely". I stop and ask myself "How do they know its a scam?"

Most likely scenario: Something is tripping a flag. Maybe they don't like your browser, maybe they don't like your mac address, maybe they don't like whatever connection/vpn/proxy you are using. Something is making them angry, that is the only thing that can explain why they are toasting your accounts after an hour.

Okay, guess no instagram for me any more.. I had many contacts solely through there. Bloody hell. I didn't even do anything. I didn't spam or advertise.. Just regular, privately used my account. Not gonna buy a new laptop and phone in combination just so I can use stupid brainrot instagram.

What really bugs me is that there is no one you can complain to. There is simply no customer support at all.

Yeah I was also faced this issue you can use a VPN and create a New ig account after that you can turn off the vpn use your account as it is but be use a private account for a several days

Well... yeah... what do you think this is? The 1990s?

It is techno-fascism from here on out. How did you not know this?

Well, besides meta, everything else has a support or contact mail.

What do you mean with use a private account for a few days? It's solely private account. No business account.

There are small time sites, businesses, groups, systems that still have someone you can "contact". But these are few and far between... and typically outside America. Any organization over a certain size are either going to direct you to an FAQ or send you to an FAQ bot that will quote the FAQ to you. That is how things work now.

The days when you could simply say "Well, I want to talk to the manager!" are long gone. These companies hate you. They love money, but they hate the people who give it to them. Face this reality.

You seem angry and preachy, and the way you depict the world doesn't even match up with my own experience besides meta.

Guilty and guilty. I am angry and preachy.

(damn it! that should have been my username)

I work in neurology and i have a lot of friends who work in psychology. As a result, we are all obsessed with perspective and philosophy. This tends to lead us towards geo-politics and trends on the level of society/civilization.

Everyone is their own Marie Antoinette (to an extent). We are keenly observant in some ways and horribly blind in others. The US (where I am now) is making a transition from the high trust society to a low trust society so your comment kind of struck a nerve.

Decades ago there was an expectation (at least in the west) that businesses would act in a fair and honorable manner. If not for their own self-opinion, then at least for the purposes of avoiding a negative reaction from the public.

However, much of that has now drained away. Corporations would gladly kick a puppy and put it up on youtube if it meant a 0.1% increase in their stock value. No one wants to be here. No one wants to be 'A part of society'. The common theme right now is "Make loads of cash and flee the country. Hurt anyone who gets in your way".

It is a dark way to look at things, I would agree. But not inaccurate.

I don't think taht's new in the world, just look back in the past how companies scorched the earth in the 70s and 80s, it's just a new outlook for you. miserable people see a miserable world, happy people see a happy world.

You are biased even if you think you're not, your world view is not objective.

And like that, the world is a series of self fulfilling prophecies and seeing things you expect to see (Baader Meinhof)

Try using the same email as your first account to sign up and use mobile internet while you do it.

I don't even know which email I used for my first account. But why would that work? Wouldn't they immediately know that the email was registered before? I allready tried a totally fresh email

There is a lot of logic in that.

Yet, what really thrills me is to learn that I was wrong. If it turns out that I am wrong about a person, organization, company, then it implies they were not so bad as I thought they were. Always happy to see those rare exceptions.

It could be due to a Community Guidelines Violation, you manage multiple accounts from the same device or IP address and one account is disabled, the other accounts may also be at risk.

Hm maybe. So once disabled, I can't create a new account with a different email?

I have been disabled and my protest has been ignored.

But I post here now because I downloaded my profile data, I can see all 4 comments I made and 2 posts I made, and NONE are anything harmful at all.

The next thing I checked, was my linked profiles. Linked meta accounts only has one entry, and that's the same account.

If I were banned because of other, previous profiles, it should show there, shouldn't it?
