A simple strategy, probably somewhat inefficient in the future.

I tried and attempted the crypto strategy of buying low and selling high, but it never go which i plan. I sold when prices high and at peak, they break my high and makes more high. My stop-loss got triggered, leaving me frustrated. It's a tough game, and timing the market feels nearly impossible sometimes. Anyone else experience this?
That's not what this post is about. The OP is talking about a specific pair with and a specific strategy, not just "buy low and sell high"

Ok, thanks for the explanation! Appreciate your efforts..

But why 250x15?
That's just 3750.. what's about the rest of the 100K? I will have about 96250 left
you can do it as many times as you want the ideal is that you look at the minimum and maximum (maximum 1.0000) the minimum is usually 0.9985, then divide your orders enough to go from 1.0000 to 0.99985 (15 points/levels) to take advantage of your $100.000, what I do is that I make many operations, every 30 minutes I check the price again and if it is at the same level, I buy more to sell at the next level.

In general, this is more for people who have savings in cryptocurrencies and don't want to worry about liquidations or futures problems, here you just forget about it, you make money little by little as long as the coins have fluctuations typical of a healthy market.

Interesting, I'd love to see more info on the strategies
I am learning more in depth trading, my idea is to combine basic trading + simple logics like overbought/oversold, simple resistance zones, liquidation map, executed liquidations and moving averages.

together with the use of impulses and trends, accumulation zones and distribution zones, to create a very simple, but efficient strategy at least in the SPOT market.

Strategy depends on alot of testing. If it work out and get you a profitable strategy then you can make big profit consistently

I don't really know much about this kind of things but I do know that there's a trading fee. That's the flaw of your otherwise great strategy.

yes trading fee will get your earnings straight away. On binance it eats up pretty quickly

From what i have experienced after alot of trading is trading for quick scalps or scalping is no where profitable.
On 1 minute chart profits are very small even if you get more then 65% trades profitable, the trading fee itself wont let you remain in green or profitable.

is a very good question, that's why we use FDUSD, where there are zero absolute commissions.

about what will happen when commissions are added, just change the 0.01% to 0.25% (in case of binance) you will earn about 0.5%, you will trade less times, but in general you will earn about the same, because 0.5% on 5m-15m candles is almost always the case.

Ok, that's basically how a grid bot operates

I have been busy, now with the Bull run, I have paused the bot, it is more profitable to buy low and sell high with the Bull run cycles.
Hey so I've been spending a bit of time setting up the script, (I have no knowledge or experience with javascript, a little bit of python background), I wanted to know if you test your bots out on binance's test net?

I did a dry run just to make sure actions were executing, but I'm having trouble connecting to binance faucet to test the bot out with simulated funds.

I save you the trouble, don't use the binance testnet, it lacks liquidity, test with $1 USDT and that's it, select a random currency that allows you to make $5 USDT purchases for testing, the binance testnet is horribly bad.

Thanks, I didn't find that much information on the test net, do I keep all the buy and sell rates/percentages the same? By $1 do you mean making let's say $1 trades, 5x? Can I test with USDC/USDT? Only started reading this method last night, apologies if you may have already explained this in the thread.
